Zombies VS Vampires!

Well it's October the session of screams. Time to forget about Ninjas and Pirates for a while, so which is it? Zombies or Vampires? Which makes you scream more, which owned this year and down right which gives more entertainment or enjoyment in this industry?

Vampire Knight

Dead Rissing

Twilight

Resident evil 5

Moon Phase

Zombie Power

Personally, I believe in both. More terrifying are vampires though. They're predatory AND intelligent.

Though, Twilight has kind of ruined vampires for me a little bit.

Although I believe vampires are inherently cooler and waaaay more badass, zombies are the more terrifying of the two. Vampires can be reasoned with, but zombies can't. Also, zombies are several times stronger than vampires, though a lot of books and other forms of media are portraying the two to be roughly equal in terms of power since they're both undead. All in all, a rational/reasoning creature isn't nearly as fear-inspiring as a single-minded and unrelenting one.

Why would a vampire be reasoned with? They can tear your ****ing arms off and suck your blood.

In fact, that's why I chose vampires. That's one of the main differences between zombies and vampires. Zombies are driven by survival. Vampires are sentient. They can plan. They understand that they have power. They understand that they can use that power against humans.

I've got far more garlic, mirrors, and wooden stakes in my house than I should.

I wish my house went over running water, though.

The fact that Zombies aren't intelligent makes them more terrifying to me. They're like terminators that can't be reasoned with, whereas with a Vampire you can always suggest an alternate source of blood and see what happens.

Yes, but think about that. How much would it suck to be betrayed by someone you trusted who sold you out to vampires?

Then that person was killed by the vampires anyway.

I will say that zombies' are terrifying though.

But the fact remains that you CAN reason with a vampire. Yeah, chances are that you're still going to be sucked dry, but there's that slim possibility that the vampire will be inclined toward mercy. Zombies don't know what mercy is, and if one gets his claws on you, you're ****ed unless you can get yourself out.

Exactly. In one scenario you have a 1% chance or less, in the other you have a 0% chance.

Personally, I think werewolves pwn both in every arena. Then again, I AM somewhat biased.

It'd suck more to be betrayed by someone who locks you in a room filled with Zombies.

Vampires, definitely.

For me, it's exactly the opposite to John. The fact that Zombies have no smarts make them scary, but not THAT scary.

Vampires Knight explains an interesting possibility that there can be different styles of there kind based on levels of control. Level E is a good explanation of a almost mindless Zombie like Vampire with one huge difference the speed. A fast zombie like Vampire can get it's food faster so i'd have to say will win. This idea has been thrown around before and I'd have to agree with it.

Vampires also have group in packs in many cases and can work together with a sense of all minds as one mind. They can formulate a plain or test if it will fail and then fix it from there. Zombies can only hope to trap it's pray in one sold area with a group that doesn't work as one mind or pack. Someone can have hope in getting away from a Zombie more then hoping a Vampire will look for a new food.

I've got to get give to Vampires in screams, owing this year, and entertaining the industry.

vampires won't necessarily suck you dry or turn you.. you could just become one of the people that allow vampires to feed off of and not kill you..

so zombies are more terrifying to me. especially the fast ones like in 28 days/weeks later.
