^You're not the only one, it's just that nobody cares that it isn't World War 1 or 2. It's still a war, and I believe the last poll of Americans say a majority would prefer to see it finished rather than just pull out. I'm not going to try to make an argument that we're fighting to give them rights, 'cause that's a load of crap. We're not there for something so noble.
Granted I don't believe our rights are being threatened by Iraq, but pulling out of the area is a Catch-22.
Edit: And I don't think many people really refer to it as the Iraq War or the War in Afghanistan anymore. It's just the plain ol' "War on Terror". One could argue that fighting terrorism is fighting for our right to life (by taking theres [irony]).

I haven't heard anyone using the "War on Terror" except when they're talking about how bad Bush ****ed up. Just about every other time it's the war in Iraq. Of course, I never hear about Afghanistan in everyday conversation, so I can't comment on that.
Wow that was just beautiful. While I'm sure she was thinking, hopefully this shuts that jackass up, it still was also right on the level of the word because he has a right to say that and be defended for it.
