X-Men vs Avengers vs Justice League

Who's your favorite superhero team and why? Any old reason will do. I pick X-Men, because neither the Avengers or the JL have Gambit, Nightcrawler, or Colossus. Plus, the only DC hero I'm really fond of is Batman, and maybe Green Lantern, so the JL loses on that count.

Normally, I would say X-Men, but since Gambit isn't technically an X-Man, I'll have to take the Avengers, what with Thor and Iron Man.

Explain.

Also, I seriously thought about taking Avengers over X-Men, but Thor is only one superhero (even if he is a god, and my favorite superhero to boot), while I like many more of the X-Men than the members of the Avengers.

The JL is weak sauce. They suck. Gotta go with x-men. Granted the last time I really read the series was in the 80's, but those were some great comics.

When you say X-Men, who exactly are you including within that group? I'm only asking because there's been different people in the actual team throughout the years.

Personally my opinion none of them, I dislike almost every super hero team. For myself I fill it’s a quick way to cash in on already meaningful characters, Comic books, Manga, Anime and original ideas in a cheep manner. I find distaste in both. In fact I only like the first X-Men film to tell you the truth. I what more Iron man not the Avengers super Hero team personally. We will see if they can make the film worth while and meaningful on the Avengers but tell then I stand by I dislike both.

I didn't think of that. I guess I was thinking of those that were featured in the animated series as well as those in the X-Men Legends games. I've only read a few of the comics, so I'm not exactly certain how the teams were composed in those series. The people I'm thinking of are:

Wolverine (duh)
Cyclops
Storm
Professor X
Jean Grey/Phoenix
Gambit (who may or may not be an X-Man, depending on whether I accept Rorschach's reasoning)
Beast
Nightcrawler
Colossus
Magma
Iceman/Bobby Drake (I can't remember if his codename is Iceman or not)
Shadowcat
Jubilee
Rogue
Archangel

I know I'm leaving some out, either through ignorance or because they aren't technically members of the team. Feel free to bring up others if you think of any. BTW, do Cable and Bishop count as X-Men?

I'm not talking about which TV show or movie is better. I'm talking about which team do you like more, be your experience be with comic books, movies, TV, or other forms of media. But I am looking forward to the Avengers movie, as I'd like to see how they handle that one and who they put in the movie.

To be fair, I don't think you can bash the other two teams too badly for that. I can name Avengers and JL members that had their powers for their whole life. I'm inclined to agree with you, though.

For the most part, that's not common.. and it's typically mystical in nature.
