Best Buy vs. Circuit City
Which electronic store is your favorite and why. If you select "other" write in that name as well.
I'm actually indifferent but like and dislike things about them both. I'd pick BB by a slim margin since there's generally more locations in places I frequent (and I travel the country BTW)
Location: Since OAR cracked the code: Saugerties, New York.

Of the two, I would have to say Best Buy, although it often does have slow service.

Despite there being few Circuit Cities in Canada (called The Source), I vote for them. Also, if you knew what really goes on behind the scenes of Best Buy (remember, I worked for FutureShop, a Best Buy company), you would puke.
Haha, well, Best Buy isn't as bad as I make it out to be. Sure, they have no commission on sales, but they still will eventually try to seal the deal on a laptop or something big.
Easy, Circuit City sucks balls. They have terrible customer service and are only concerned with making the sale, as their sales team is paid on commission. Best Buys now have Magnolia Hi-Fis inside of their stores which instantly puts their audio/video items ahead of CC's (higher-end technolgy). Also, CC's employees are NOT paid on commision, so even though not all of them know everything there is to know about audio/video, they are willing to try their best to find somebody who does. The ONLY problem with Best Buy is that they have that dreaded "restocking fee", otherwise they blow CC out of the farking water.
If there were still a Good Guys or even an Anderson's in my area I'd certainly go to one of those two first, but after that it's easily Best Buy. And this is coming from somebody who knows his audio/video pretty well.
Location: well...lets see...if i were to tell you then there might be a stalker on these forums and then he would come and start to stalk me even rob me...so thats why i cant tell you.........well...i live in the same city as the one near the border
BB wins on this one. The only fault they have for me is that it's loud in there and the lame restocking fee. CC only wins due to the no restocking fee and no questions asked on any return, and it's quiet so you don't need pills to go inside to dull the pain. So when it come to high dollar stuff (500+ range) it's CC unless BB has some insane deal on something that overshadows the restock fee in worst case scenario, and in general BB for anything else especially because they do random non-known sales at great values on top of the weekly ads.

Um, The Source sucks. Theyre tiny garbage stores in Canada. Im pretty sure its not the US chain, its just The Source by circuit city. The Source = Radio Shack.
