Just need to again express my love for Nintendo Customer Service

My wii is from launch, been off warranty for a long time. It started giving me random disc read errors a while ago, getting progressively worse, til the point i believe my discs are being silghtly scratched in the process. I've been putting it off since new games kept coming out, but I finally called in to get it repaired. As usual they were insanely friendly and helpful, immediately offered to have it repaired free of cost, and to repair/replace the damaged game discs. Also added in is another 1 year warranty from the repair. Shipping is paid for and return should be about 13 days (I wouldnt be surprised if it was shorter, my dsi was repaired and returned to me in 10 days from when it left my hands til it was back at my door). My experience with some other corporations service lines have utter nightmares, feeling like I have to fight for anything, its nice to enjoy nintendo's hassle free process.

No real point to this thread, just appreciation.

Sounds like when they gave me a freebie on the DSLite I had. Technically it should have been in warranty but the tools at the store never logged it with Nintendo as they should so it wasn't on file as I was told it was, and with no receipt I couldn't prove it. Didn't care, had it back in like 8-10 days with a new touch panel as the one I had the bottom quarter inch of the screen most the way across left to right was shifted like a 1/2 inch over...really weird.

Yeah when my DSi broke they were super kind to me. On their cs evaluation form I wrote some glowing things about them. Especially cause m$ is kinda meh when my 360 red ringed and sony were dicks when my PS3 need fixing.
