Thanks man ...I'm really looking forward to it...I was thinking an ER doctor before that also, but I realized I'm more suited to being out in the field, handling the stress outside the hospital..(plus getting my paramedic opens other field options such as ER tech.).
and yeah, I my gf really likes chemistry, so she decided to work toward the medical field also.
I hear Pharm.D is a pretty hard program tho
That sounds pretty intense, and I think that's cool. The great thing about healthcare is what you mentioned: there are plenty of options for career movement.
Pharm is bitchin' hard. Just taking some of it for my nursing classes was tough enough. She's gonna need a lot of support from ya, bud.
Happy halloween, folks. Here's a fun tip for those of you who handed out candy and have some to spare:
Reeses Pieces + Skittles = candy peanut butter and jelly.
Welcome back! Dunno if you remember me, but hey anyways
I got a part time job to help me save up some more cash for school. I'm a government employee by day, and on select nights, a dishwasher at an Italian restaurant.
I was rubbish on the first day. Like, absolute rubbish. I was pretty depressed about it, and went to sleep on Friday with that on my mind.
While I was sleeping, I had a dream on how to do the dishes. Literally; which order, what I should prioritize, etc, etc. I applied it the next day...and it worked!

That is some fucked up shit right there.
Don't worry about it, man. I used to have nightmares about the dishtank at Bob Evans and stuff, too, so it's normal.

I'll be there for her.
The thing is, she's one of those people that truly enjoys the act of studying and learning, and I'm pretty sure she's gonna be devoting all of her time to being a full time student, so she should have the time-resources to get the job done...
Today, I learned that after a few drinks it's very easy to mistake gin.com for ign.com. I also learned that this is not nearly as exciting a mistake as one might hope.
On the other hand, I won $50 in my mates' Cup Day sweep, destroyed them at Smash and participated in a 15-man food fight across the back yard and roof (I knocked someone off their feet with a cooked dim sim, but then got hit between the eyes with it twenty seconds later). So it's hard to feel sorry for myself

Man, that sounds hardcore. So, by double major you mean two majors during your course? Over here it refers to doing a normal major but with twice as many units during third year (so, by the Moansh system, a first-year sequence is 12 points, a minor is 24, a major 48 and a double major 60). I would've liked to do two majors over my course, but because I was an indecisive twat who ditched a CompSci course 18 months' in, I was left with the equivalent of a semester and a half of units that didn't count toward anything :/ Still got a philo minor, though!
^Doesn't that suck to have extra classes that do not count toward anything?
With all the time I spent in community college, I could have received 2 associate degrees. I could have received a generalized Associate of Science or Associate of Arts, along with my Associate in Nursing.
*Just laughed to self, realized that Associate contains the word "ass," which is what I feel like for draining so much time in a 2 year program*
ha hah. isn't it so, Smokey? Oh, well. C'est la vie.
Can't help but feel monstrously bored. Still no word from the hospitals.
My dad is thinking about selling the Jetta TDI he just bought last week, because he doesn't want to finance anything since he's worried about the tenability of his job. Never mind that I could use it if I get a job in Cincinnati and that I could take over payments. No, never mind that, of course.

That's exactly correct. The only thing I have to do now is suck down my complete and utter hatred of mathematics and journey all the way to the great dungeon of calculus and defeat it with my bare hands.

kind of testing the waters on a girl. Noticed her on my friend's Facebook photos, and remarked that he must have had a thing for her. Chances are it's his friend who is older, and she's like a sister to him. She's 30, from what he said, and he'd put in a word for me, perhaps. I dunno. We'll see where this goes.
