Dragon Age: Origins

Awesome-looking RPG created by those who brought us Mass Effect and Baldurs Gate.

Came out today, I wont be getting it for a couple weeks. Anyone thinking about picking it up?

Lemme know how it is.

It's actually a decent game. You know...coming from a guy who tested it.

I recommend being a Mage. You can become so fucking powerful.

I love Walking Virulent Bomb (one of the best spells in the game, you'll see why).

OMG for the first time in nearly a year you guys are making me want to buy some console games. I'll have to add this game to my list of Uncharted 2, DJ Hero, and MWF2.

Commercials looked pretty good, I'm not into RPG's but it looked interesting. Maybe I'll cop it a bit down the line.

Being an old baldurs gate fan the PC was the only platform of choice to me. Glad I did. This is one game I really like to have a mouse for. I have made at least four characters so far. This game has so much depth. I am currently really digging my rogue archer bi-sexual bitch. It is damn handy being able to open all the lock boxes. Love the persistent blood splatter.

This game will have so much replayability, it's nuts. It's a good thing my second playthrough is with a rogue, 'cuz FUCK there are so many boxes and doors I can't open with a warrior.

BUT, I rape faces. With my shield.

I really need to play more and find either Wynn or Morrigan to heal my ass. I'm dropping pots like a crack whore. Would help if I picked up Herbalism, but I went ahead and have 3/4 slots filled with the Persuasion feat. At least while I'm breathing I can intimidate the shit out of people!..

Yeah I have to PC version. The game is awesome and with different backgrounds for each race re-playability is must. I have made two characters so far. Human Male Warrior and City Elf Female Rogue. The female city elf rogue's background was f'd up. Human's treat elves like dirt.

My new mage is just too bad ass. Virulent bomb is amazing. And morigan gets giddy when I threaten to beat up a priest. So fun. She is quick to the sack as well.

This game sounds like a lot of fun. But games that are superiour on pc makes me kinda thorn. I love using gamepads, and I love gaming in the sofa. But, I don't like having a "gimped" version. I hear the ps3 version has more slowdown than the 360 version, but better textures? I kinda feel it's a lose-lose situation.

^nah, it was a game geared for both consoles and PC....

It just turned out that it functioned slightly more preferably with a keyboard and mouse.

But I've read many reviews that say for those who have the consoles and don't do PC gaming, the game is still well worth it.
