I don't really give a shit, it's a few extra pixels on my screen when I scroll through the main page. And unless you're posting info about games a computer from the stone age (figure that one out) can run, it'll be useless to me! But I'm only the center of the universe in my universe, so go bananas as far as I'm concerned.

Personally I don't see a problem with a PC forum. We are a gaming community, are we not? I agree that if nobody uses it we don't need it, but surely there are people out there who play any of the PC-only MMOs like World of Warcraft. Also, with Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 on the horizon there's some serious PC-only gaming discussion to be had.

All that being said, I don't see why the general gaming forum is such a bad option. I mean, if Kombo outright banned PC gaming discussion I could understand all the gnashing of teeth, but there's still room for PC discussion on the general gaming forum. I won't be phased whether or not a PC forum is created.
