Oh No... The Sponge to Invade Theaters

Yep. I was on Yahoo Movies and I ran across a preview for The Spongebob Squarepants Movie, scheduled to hit theaters this Thanksgiving. The plot is supposedly going to involve Patrick stopping Plankton's worst plan yet... sounds pretty stupid.

Where did you see the preview? I thought it was gona be like this..

"Earlier this week, a report was sent to Dark Horizons that claims the story follows a Finding Nemo-ish plot in which Patrick the Starfish is caught by a fisherman and taken to a Florida aquarium, so that SpongeBob and friends have to travel there to rescue him.............Time should prove whether or not this story is legitimate or just a fan-concocted rumor."


If they keep it unkiddie, then it'll rock *loves spongebob*. But I think they will gear it towards kids. I'll go see it for free when it comes out, but it should rock.

I'll watch the show if ive got nothing better to do, but the only cartoon for kids i usually watch is Ed, Edd, 'n Eddy. aaah, stupid yet hilarious. I usually act like i like Spongebob so the girls who do like him will like me :d..... too bad thats yet to work though :mad:

Eh, Spongebob kind of lost its charm after they've shown all the episodes at least 20 times with no new ones.

they've shown no new ones because the creator stopped making them. he didn't want the concept to become tired after making several seasons of them. nickelodeon, however, always shows the same stuff over and over again, without regard for what people who actually watch the channel might think. i will, however, watch it occassionally, just because i want to see spongebob and nothing else...

Wow. Nickelodeon keeps showing non stop repeats here. At least we're getting new Sabrina episodes here...well, they're not new anymore cause the series has been aired but I missed most of them so am glad to catch up when they do come on.
