This game looks so hot has anyone seen the newest trailer for it. The main character reminds me of the guy from Chrono Cross. The guy with the Blue Hair.

i've seen the japanese advert for it, and it looks absolutely stunning, very viewtiful indeed, hopefully the music from the advert features during the game, it was a nice change of pace from the standard classical-esque tunes of most RPG's

It is being made by the creators of Chrono trigger so theres the similarity and by people who made Xenogears

Kinda dissapointing after all of the cool boxarts from jpn that I seen. Here's hoping that the rest of the regions get a better one.

Its about peeps with wings and other crap. They havent decided to release it outside of Jaoan yet though. It does look in the pathway of FFX and X2, graphic wise anyways.

Baten Kaitos by the makers of Chrono Cross? It's being developed by Namco... so how would that work? Unless the team working on Chrono Cross were the same to create Xenogears, then that statement must be false. (The Xenogears team moved to Namco to create Xenosaga, so I guess it is possible that that same team did make Chrono Cross and is also doing Baten Kaitos, although it is somewhat unlikely)

Some of the creators, designers, programmers, etc. from Chrono Cross and Xenosaga are working on the game. The members from Square's Chrono Cross are "former" members there and they went to Namco and got with some of the designers there(like from Xenosaga) and have been secretly working on the game for 2 years. Remember that Chrono Cross came out in 2000 and it didnt sell anywhere near the expectations. They were probably paid off and let go and Namco picked them up in the meantime. Maybe one of those deals Nintendo signed up for before Gamecube even was released. Understand now? :P

I've heard something about a Baten Kaitos U.S. release, but can't remember. I just know I was really interested in the game when I heard who was making it, but turned away after hearing it was a card battle RPG. But once I wrote a preview for it and watched some of the videos, I became very excited about the game and it's now my most anticipated GC games.

The boxart looks cool.

man, gca has mainly card rpg's, it's getting kinda annoying, although baiten katos does look like a promising game, if it comes out stateside, i mite rent it
