I'll always have a soft spot for "Dominion Tank Police" (1st ever Anime I saw) and "Urotsukidoji" (which was one of the sickest things I saw upon 1st viewing!)

I can't say I have heard of them before.. Could you give me a little description of them? :D

Akira has to be one of the most scariest things in the anime world that I have seen.. Not so scary as in "AHHHH!" but as in when it screws up your mind..

This would be sooo much more helpful than anything I can say about them...

Wow! The first one sounds good!

Might rent them out someday. Thanks for the help! --~

1st one's VERY funny (especially the police's interogation techniques)... and just imagine - a division of the police force that patrol in TANKS. Tanks big enough to leave big arsed trenches in the street!!!

The 2nd is all gore, horror, sex and ultraviolence - which we all know is good wholesome stuff!

#1: You don't find many funny manga/animes any more. There's often light humor thrown in but I like a break from the dark gloomy stuff.

#2: Saying that, I do love the dark gloomy stuff!
Gore: WOOH!
Horror: WOOH!
Sex: WOOH!
Ultraviolence: WOOH!

I might download them.

"Project A-KO" is also a HILARIOUS one ;)

Hey, you're quite into your anime!

Do you read any comics? They are hard to get over here, but they can still be picked up :)

Never read one I'm afraid - but they're easily found in any "Forbidden Planet" hehehe.

I love Anime, and once spent an entire day going through the ones in my DVD collection... that was a good day!

I love days like that when I re-live old stuff.. I sat and watched all of NGE recently.. Bliss.

And you have a DVD colection? How many do you have?

Manga or in total?

I dunno how many are manga (haven't really kept track like that) but in total I have a mere 385 DVD's - an embarrasingly paltry collection.

Mere? 385?
You must have a good job! lol.

I have about.. Hmm.. 3 DVDs. But I guess my family together have a couple of hundred.. (Yes, I'm a family guy!)

I work for London Underground in their head office... it's not a bad job. I've been collecting since the advent of DVD (4yrs ago).

Congrats with the job - sounds good!

That's still about 2 DVDs per week - which is quite a lot to spend a normal wage on..

Cheers :D

There was a time when I was living with my parents, and used to sometimes get up to 10 a week. (then I'd give it a rest.

When I got my 1st player I got 8 DVD's straight away (and at the time there was only about 12 available!!!).

I looooove movies! I live alone and so have plenty of time to watch them. Seen all of them at least twice.

You'd get on well with my brother.. He's a movie freak!

I remember when DVDs came out.. There's probably people with every commercially licensed DVD out there..

My favorite would be FLCL (that's "furi kuri"). Then maybe Angelic Layer, since it's the current series I'm running through.
