They stop and ask for id so i'm stuffed plus i aint a good liar. I remember when i was 14 and i tried to get into a MA15+ movie. The ladie asked my age, i stood there for like 10 seconds trying to think a birthday that would make me 15 but i ended up saying"the 5th of the 1st of 87" then i realised that that only made me 14 so i quickly said "....ah no,no..(insert ten second gap).......I ment 86". I was all red face and wide eyed but she still let me in anyway!! 'eck.

The origianal movie was actually cut at 6 hours and 45 mins. He wanted to do it in parts originally but he didn't think the studio wanted to do that so he never said anything. One day he was called into thier offices and they were like, "The movie is too long, would you be opposed to cutting it into multiple movies?" well you know the rest. The thing that pisses me off is that with how long the original cut was, why wasn't it cut into THREE segments and not just two?

Do you have a source for the 6h45m runtime? I thought the original cut was just as long as the two parts combined will be.

yeah, the combined run time was supposedly right around three hours, not six. and he cut it in two b/c he finished the first half of the flick, bob weinstein saw it, and said, "that's the movie, right there". so, quentin got his way and put it in two movies.

Yes, that's what I heard as well. Six hours would have been a little excessive.

Does the R rating mean you have to be over 18 or 21? Max is 18 here in the UK.

R rating means under seventeen must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

NC-17 means NO one under 17 gets in, regardless of whether or not someone is with them.

the PG and PG-13 ratings don't count, because everyone brings kids of all ages to them, and G means general audiences. just so you in the UK have a reference as to what the hell we're talking about when we talk about the ratings...

i wish tarantino could just get a film out on time...

Technically Kill Bill Vol. 1 should already be on DVD. Considering Vols 1 & 2 were originally one movie. Shouldn't be taking this damn long.

Wasn't one of the big things about these two movies how closely they were released? I seem to remember all these people in the movie going on late night shows talking about how cool it was that it was such a short time between the movies and now this? It's coming out in April? Typical. --~

well, the magical thing is, vol 2 was still being shot when vol 1 was in theatres. they were originally one movie, but the movie wasn't finished when the first part came out.

and yes, they did go on all the talk shows talking about how close the releases would be...and now they're not.

goddammit!

oh well, i'm still gonna go see this bitch.
