Which console is going to have the best 2004?

I think Xbox is going to have the best year next year. The Xbox LIVE service is really coming into its own, and the release of Halo 2 can only help. Other titles like Fable, and the PC ports of Doom3 and Half-Life 2 will also benefit it greatly. Second is the Gamecube,
because of the giant string of RPG's it will receive, not to mention Resident Evil 4, Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes, and possibly Geist. Last is the PS2, only major title coming out is Gran Turismo 4

The GameCube is easily going to win out. Sure, Xbox has Halo 2 and PS2 has MGS3, but GameCube has so many anticipated games next year.

I think GameCube will because it'll probably get geist, Metroid Prime 2, FF CC, possibly a new mario, possily a new Zelda, Star Fox, Metal gear Solid TTS, Tales of Symphonia, Baiten kaitos, the list goes on. Plus, that "new product" might be for GameCube, but who knows.

I think it'll be GC, then XBox, then PS2.

The GC has so many NEW games comming out (ie: not sequals, or sequals with entirely new concepts), such as FF:CC (I count it as new because of the unique use of connectivity), Baten Kaitos, Tales of Symphonia, possibly Mario 128, and who can forget Geist... I'm sure they'll announce more awesome games before the 2004 is over with too.

The XBox has XBox Live! which I have to admit, is pretty damn cool. They're getting Halo 2, which should be reasonably sweet, although I don't know what they're including that's new, if anything at all. And the one title that I would love (unless it turns out to be too ambitious) is Fable. That game looks sweet.

I think the PS2 is starting to lose it's speed, with the XBox and GC's userbase expanding, the publishers are starting to give the PS2 less exclusives and making more games multiplatform

PS2. SOCOM 2 is coming here next year. I'm still wondering when its online capabilities will come into play. Kingdom Hearts 2 GT4 will be interesting aswell. WRCIIII maybe ^^

Sony (and gang) sure know how to cash in on a game series. I guess every company does that, but still, when ALL of the anticipated games of the year are sequels, that's saying something.

I dont know if MP 2 will even come out next year, but if they can get that and a new Zelda out, Gamecube will be THE most pimped out console next year. As for Xbox, you cant forget True Fantasy Live Online. Xbox's 1st MMORPG is bound to be great, aand you cant forget Theif III. I know its another PC game, but if its as good as its Ion Storm brothjer, Deus Ex, then it'll kick royal ass..... Sorry PS2, youve got nothing going for you beyond GT 4!

Well actually, you can't really tell yet from just pics, videos and of the upcoming games. It's all just basically presumptions about which systems will have the best 2004. But I think all 3 systems will. All of the games coming out for each system are about the same quantity. I mean look at all these games.
