The new weekly updates talks about new maps, and when they will come out.

Good News:

2 maps will be free

Bad News:

Rest you have to pay for or wait till the end of summer to get them free. :angry:

I hate you bungie.....although one of the free maps (Containment) looks sweet.

We waited 5 months for 9 maps. Just two of them are free. The rest you have to pay for OR wait even longer to get them free.

Ill pay - granted I would have preferred for the content to be free, but chances are that if all the maps were up for DL at once, it would have cost the same amount over Live as it would at retail. Bungie is just allowing those without Live the same chance to pick up the new maps, for the same price, and giving those with Live subscriptions a 2-map bonus as it were.

Some of those maps look sweet. I'm curious as to why they brought back Wizard of all maps. Maybe it's just me, but I wasn't a fan of Wizard. If they had brought back Prisoner, though, you could have called me on happy camper :D

I was wondering what that loud squirting sound was.... it was the entire Halo fanbase gooing their pants.

The 4 maps that I've seen thus far look totally awesome, and i CANNOT wait to download them.

I'm still so very curious as to what that side-story animation is. They said it was a short cinematic based in New Mombasa...

...screw it, I'll download the initial maps, and when the disc comes out, I'll just fork out $20. Totally worth it.
