Its the clash of the titans! What is the one burger joint to rule them all.......... Carls Jr. of course. Seriously have you tried the six dollar burger yet? as my good friend Joe Dirt would say "This is what we like to call burger heaven." Of course Mr. Dirt also enjoyed shooting fireballs at atom bombs that were actually RV sewage tanks bleh. but it is carls jr.

Anyway, I pick Burger King. Anyone who trusts what McDonalds puts into their meet should be deemed stupid...but the fries are okay, although MOST of the time they are cold and soggy....so I like BK for that too.

Anyone pay attention to McJobber's new "Chicken" Nuggets? Notice how they say "all white meat"? You'll never hear them say "all white chicken meat" or whatever. I hope you know why.

You havent lived till youve tried some Carl's Jr. criss cut fries. Those things put french fries to shame. plus, Carl's Jr. is the only place you caan get chili cheese fries, next to sonic, which i should've put on the lost, but its not a true burger place, its a drive-in. aand i think Hardee's is Carls Jr. on the east coast. im not sure.

Unfortunately there are no Wendy's withing 20 minutes of me (Im only in a highly populated suburban area, why would there be...) so i have only eaten there twice. Otherwise, that may have been my choice. But for now, nothing beats a (Double?) Ultimate Bacon Cheesburger

we only got 2 of them in australia (burger king, called hungry jacks, and mcdonalds) and they both suck. go for the little fish and chip shop on the corner and get a real burger dripping with oil and tasty as hell. not that mass produced crap they make on the production lines they call fast food 'restaurants'.

Yeah, Hungry Jacks and Maccas mainly suck in Australia. I go to Maccas for the McFlurries and cookies tho (they rock), and HJ for the softserves (15 cents cheaper than Maccas, and they taste better too). I don't really eat either of their burgers tho, I prefer the fish and chip shop near my house too (which, incidentally, has good fish and chips, too ;)). Chicken McNuggets aren't bad.

However, by far the best thing to get at the food court is a muffin from Muffin Break and an iced chocolate or creamy hot cocoa from Gloria Jeans! Mmmm... :]

Red Rooster does some good chips - a little chicken salt o nthem and they're great. Tho, most charcoal chicken places do that. There's one near my house with heavenly chicken-salted chips.

in a 15 mile radius of my house their are 12 McDonalds, 2 Checkers, 2 Burger Kings, and 2 Wendy's. In a two mile radius of my house their are 3 MCDonalds, a Burger King and a Wendys.

I only like McDonalds as my burger joint, so theirs no second favorite for me.

Along with burger joints theirs tons of Pizza Huts, KFC's, Taco Bells, Subways and joints...

Wendy's hands down. There fries and square burgers are the best. I can't stand burger king anymore, their fries suck, whoppers haven't been as good as I once remembered, and they suck. They get carried away with the mayo. And when you tell them easy on the mayo they're like "que?".. .. errr... I do like their breakfast menu though.

McDonalds is tolerable, but it's mediocre. I love the McGriddles.

Anyone live in NE Illinois or Wisconsin? Ever been to Culvers? Best burgers ever, and they actually have real custard ice cream!

It's pretty good actually, was like the place to be after all little league games. They closed the old one i used to go to (in bayarea many buildings older than 20 years are torn down to make room for homes) but there is another one like 20 miles away. Maybe its just a California thing?

Yeah, its a British-Aussie kind of thing. Its fried fish and real big french fries. they're really good, especially if you find like a mom-n-pop fish 'n chips place. those are the best, but since ive yet to find one out here, i just use my frydaddy to cook the delicious little things up.

Do you eat Fish n Chips with your hands or do you have to use utensils with the fish? If so, thats probably why it hasnt caught on here...

I'd have to say carl jr. (hardees overhere). I went to pheonix a few years ago and asked my uncle about them, and he said that he loved the place and that him and my dad used to go there all the time when he used to live up here. I think they changed the name because of some legal issue or something to due w/ a bad beef insident or something. Anyway, when ever I go to hardees they always make the food fresh, and even though I have to wait a little extra it's usually worth it.
