The age old question. Coca-Cola wins out for its originality and overall better taste.

Pepsi tastes too artificial, like Chemical 183 or something... plus, I can get Diet Coke with Lemon, which rocks if you have braces (only a few more months!)
I actually think that Pepsi has a sweeter taste and Cola is too gassy. Coca - Cola has a big history behind it though. I prefer Dr Pepper ;)

i like pepsi better than coke. it's a much better soft drink...
plus, anything that beckham sells, i'm buying...--~
Pepsi Max is much better. The taste is fantastic.

Pepsi is gross, all I taste is the Nutri-sweet. While Coke has become somewhat generic, I much say it is definitely better. Pepsi-made Mountain Dew 0wns al1 tho

pepsi tastes better, after putting cocaine into coke, i cant trust that company no more
They say Pepsi Max has no sugar. So what makes it so sweet
Pepsi and Coke taste the same. I'd prefer some plain ol water. Good ol plain hydration that'll keep you going and going and going...

That was back in the 19th century when cocaine was legal and the company did not try and hide the fact that they used it in their beverage. Hell, half of its name is derived from the drug.
Pepsi is the one you shouldnt trust, they have yet to admit they put pep-pills in their drink. Those lying bastards.

Pepsi Max and Diet Coke have artificial sweetener in them. Incidentally, art. sweetener is much, much sweeter than natural (or unnatural, for that matter) sugar. Therefore, they put much less of it in. That's why the Diet drinks are diet - they have less energy in them b/c the sweetener is sweet but not very plentiful or energising. So don't drink a Diet drink before a race. ;)

I prefer Pepsi over Coca-Cola. Hands down, Pepsi is a lot better tasting to me. The Pepsi company also has a lot of other great beverages that beat out the Coke company. Pepsi has a better taste to me than Coke. Coke tastes bland and plain. Pepsi products will keep you going late at night better as well. That has been proven by me and all my friends at all night parties...

Coke is just better. The diet ones aren't that bad, and Vinalla Coke is great, and both Sprites are great. Pepsi is just crap and all the spinoffs are REALLY bad. Pepsi Blue was a disaster, Mountain Dew is gross and the spinoff of those make me puke. MD: Yellow Fever is the grossest thing I have ever put in my mouth. No jokes on that please. :-P

I love coke more than i love pepsi, but thats still saying something, cause ill drink anything in a carbonated can (except strawberry cream soda..... the most disgusting drink ever!). Coke has a more bold, robust taste, while Pepsi goes down smooth and easy. But i cant condone pepsi for stealing all of cokes ideas. Coke is the nintendo of sodas! 1st diet, then cherry, now vanilla! Geez pepsi why dont you think something up for yourselves!?!

true...but pepsi made purple pepsi, clear pepsi, and blue pepsi

Chocolate Milk, the one milk to rule them all. of course theres also strawberry milk, caramel milk, and banana milk. They're all delicious and impossible to recreate in soda. Sorry, i'll pass on caramel coke or strawberry pepsi.

this is my eternal argument. Pepsi wins due to more sweet taste. Sorry Coke, if you can take the rust out of a toilet bowl, what are you going to do to my stomach?
Pepsi probably does the same thing. However, Pepsi goes down smooth and tastes better, so it gets my vote. I prefer Dr. Pepper or Vanilla Coke, though. I don't like Pepsi Vanilla, it has too much vanilla taste to it. And don't get me started on Pepsi Blue or Dr. Pepper Code Red. They taste like cough syrup to me.

Pepsi has a better taste... and coke's too fizzy - although I do occasionally crave Cherry Coke. Dunno if they do a Cherry pepsi anywhere, but they don't in the UK. pepsi Twist is FAB! (lemon pepsi). lemon coke is just brown lemonade!
I love Cherry Coke. Kinda tastes like Dr. Pepper!
Coca Cola all the way for me, baby! (Sorry Monkey!)

Pepsi Blue and Dr. Pepper Code Red rule! anyone who says otherwise is an obvious ignoramous. I swear, Pepsi blue is carbonated Kool-Aid, and its delicious, as for Code Red, what can i say? its just plain good!!!!!!

Pepsi blue is the MOST DISGUSTING FOOD ITEM on the market today. Carbonated Kool-Aid? Try carbonated cough syrup. I force my friends to drink the remaining Blues i have left over from when my mom bought a 24 case over a year ago.

Dunno, but I've found a newsagents about 2mins walk away that actually sells Cherry Coke in 2ltr bottles... haven't seen ANYWHERE do that in years, and so far it's the only place I've found that does it now!

It's not just old bottles either, they have the newer style labels like the smaller bottles!

I like Coke better because I think that it is more refreshing than Pepsi. To me Pepsi tastes a little to syrupy and kind of tastes a little flat, but I like Dr. Pepper better than them all, but Dr. Pepper owns Dr. Pepper. Oh yeah, can anybody tell me what happened to 7up? Why does Pepsi have that shitty Sierra Mist now? --~
Monkeylord
01-13-2004, 10:38 AM
We still have 7-UP... in fact, we still have Cherry 7-UP. Did you ever get "Quatro" in the US - that drink was incredible and I haven't seen it in about 12years :(

01-14-2004, 06:43 AM
Yup... in many (well, about 4) varieties - Orange, lemon, Berry Burst and there's a weird Fruit Salad flavour that I think tastes HORRIBLE!.
We have a few more flavors as well. The purple one and another or so.. I used to work in a pick and mix shop and we used to have eeeeevvvvvvery type of drink available.. practically :)

man, i love orange and strawberry...they OWN!
in germany there's this soda made by coke called "mezzo" or something like that. it sucks ass. it's like a mix between dr. pepper and mello yello...that's all i could come up with at the time. it's been two years since i had it, though, so maybe it would taste different now...
Monkeylord
01-15-2004, 07:19 AM
In France they do a lemon and lime drink called "Pschitte" (guess how it's pronounced - and what it tastes like!)
I'm not a big fan of Fanta, but I do like Fruitopia (which is made by Coke, by the way).

Never heard of that. Do you have "Tango" in the states? It has the most BIZARRE and hilarious ad campaign in the UK (I still have my Tango Doll and Tango collapsable Megaphone). I strongly urge people to hunt down the ads, and if possible try "Tango Strange Soda" it's made with milk, and the strawberry one is LUSH!
You know when you've been Tango'd!

Monkeylord
01-16-2004, 09:47 AM
I much prefer pepsi Twist to Diet Coke with Lemon - but there may be a variation in the flavours from country to country cos UK's Diet Coke with lemon is too lemony. It's basically brown lemonade and is HORRIBLE!

And, Coke has better chomercials.

Right on. Pepsi is hardly original, their ad-campaign consists of constant Coke bashing, whereas Coke never mentions their competitors. I think the winner is clear as day.
