I picked this game up when I got Mario Kart yesterday, and I must say that it is awesome. It's quite similar to Paper Mario, and I love the ability to level up the brothers' mustaches :p

Can't wait for this game. I'm thinking about getting it for Christmas. It's released next week in Australia I think.

I heard that it is a mix between Paper Mario and Super Mario RPG. Would you agree?

Also is it confusing to control both Mario and Luigi at the same time?

It's confusing at first, but you get used to it. It actually becomes quite cool how B controls Mario and A controls Luigi.

If anybody is a fan of Nintendo there is NO REASON not to get this game. If you don't love RPG's, there is enough platforming to tide you over. There is SO MUCH humor in this game it's rediculous and so many references to Nintendo games past - Nintendo fans will be the real ones to truly appreciate this game on every level.

I've only been playing for 2.5 hours and it's already the best game on the GBA ever for me.

I'm going back to Canada with a friend in 10 days....I'll stock up on games lol. It normally takes around 2-6 months for a game to be released here (thats after the US release for sure...)

It's a fairly good game, the battle system is very unique for a gba game. I'm currently stuck in the Hooniversity, i need to get sunlight into the building somehow. I guess I need to go back to playing it.

I just got my first badge and it was funny to see Mario have to push Luigi because he didn't get his badge. lol My passport pictures are weird looking. Mario kinda looks like Arnold groping for something...

Anyway, I'm about to play it right now. Fun game indeed.

I'm at level 11 for both Mario and Luigi and have played for like 3 and a half hours, so I'm not that far I take it.

I just got the thunderhand for Luigi and the firehand from Mario. I think I'm at level 17 or 18 with both. Almost 6,000 points for each.

lol, only a few people know Mario and Luigi. When I reached the immigrant toad village, I thought Mario got mad when the person knew Luigi and said it was an honor, but I think it was the way he looks at that angle. It's also funny to electrify Mario as Luigi and burn Luigi with Mario before you get the power from the Jellyfish sisters. It's funny to see them yell at each other. lol

On that Joke or whatever island, it seems hard. Maybe I am pretty low or something. I'm only at level 30-31. :(

I just recently picked this game up, and it is hilarious! All the in-jokes are perfect for a fan from the NES Super Mario Bros. days! I agree with the voices being the funniest to me...you can tell its Mario and Luigi's voices, but its just gibberish!

I picked up this instead of Fire Emblem just to get the Zelda disc, and it was worth it (though I will be getting Fire Emblem as soon as possible)!

Wow, this game sounds so awesome. I've been holding off buying any GBA games for a while now. The last I purchased was Donkey Kong Country...and that was like June or something, I'm not too sure.

I'm not into Final Fantasy games, but from all the rave reviews I've heard and the fact that Dark has clocked up over 100 hours on it makes me seem all of a sudden interested in the title. I guess I'll get one of these titles soon. It's just a matter of which one?

I played FFAT and I cannot recommend it. I find this game (M&L) to be fun, as well as Fire Emblem and Advance Wars, but not FF. Sadly, too, I guess.

Just got this game the other day, too. It's a very cool game! I like the way the characters say things and make sounds, other than just standing there while you read the text. This game is a MUST have!

And it's like midway through battle (maybe 1/3), so losing sucks.

I think I've gotten about 20 to 250 hours into the game.

But yeah, at first I thought the sword (umm...what the hell is his name?) was the end boss. I was surprised when he wasn't. Then when I beat Smithy...and he turned into a killing machine...lol. Have any of you guys tried playing that game with 2 people yet? Just stick the game into your gameboy player and use 2 controllers. Have one player control mario with A and the other Luigi with B. I thought that could be some very interesting way to play the game.

Ok I beat the game the other night with a time of 23 hours well spent. Actually i don't think the last boss's time if tacked onto that so probably 23 hours and 35 minutes. I must have fought that final boss about 40 times at least until I beat her/him!

Don't hesitate to buy this game guys - just go and buy it and ask questions later. If you hate it you can blame me and then I'll just have to slap you. I am giving this game top scores, maybe even the best GBA game I ever played.

I have a review started if the damn GBA Editor for GCA would wake up and read his email!!!!!!! :P

I completed it only a couple of hours ago and I must say thet it is a killergame. Not that you kill much but it is really good.

It is the best RPG on the GBA according to me. It's the battlesystem that makes it really shine. And the grahics I must add

I beat it a couple weeks ago; it's easily one of the best games of the year. Lots of nostalgic references to past Nintendo games, lots of quirky humor, and lots of fun.
