Suicide is depressing but I think the thing to remember is that anyone who committs suicide is probably horribly depressed and really needs help and it's good to learn about the warning signs so that you can try to do something about it.

I have known a few people who tried but failed but are ok now after going through therapy. :) So if you see someone trying to stab their arms with scissors, pull a Jaga and help her out won't you?

first of all...i just want to say the idea of suicide is stupid; there is always a way out of everything...but anyway...my best friend's mom killed herself and my friend from 7th grade killed herself....i don't know why my best friend's mom killed herself...but my friend from 7th grade was just an idiot...she had a few problems and she killed herself...

this girl in my school tried to flush her head to death, then she took out her jump rope and then hunged herself from the top of the stall, tere was a hook there, it's a shame though, she was really pretty and popular

I don't approve of suicide as a way out of depression - I don't think I've ever wanted to kill myself, ever. But I can see wh yppl would want to. Sometimes, it just seems like there isn't any benefit to living.

I clicked 'No', but then realised that a girl who went to my primary school apparently lost her father a few years later. I don't know if what happened after was actually true (just via the grapevine), but her mum was already dead, and she ended up at an orphanage. Apparently, she tried to slit her wrists quite a few times. :(

Also, a couple of my friends routinely cut (or at least graze) their wrists. Not as a suicide thing, more of a goth fashion statement. That never really appealled to me. >_<

One of my good mates hung himself two years ago.

He had missed school for the best part of three months then he suddenly returned for a week, then the week after that we found out that he had killed himself. Everyone asked him where he had been for the three months but he didn't want to say. Must have been troubles at home.

It's sad really because he was extremely bright and could have went places in life. He wasn't a loser, or hated either, but people claimed it was school pressures which I don't believe for one bit. I don't know though.

My friend on the school bus spent a couple days in a psycho place because he slit his wrists and throat, he's ok now though. Also, my former friend once tried to stab himself and on another occasion tried to kill himself with a hockey stick, don't know what he was thinkin. He's really weird though, he never bathes, never eats, and he basicly comes from a bad home. And oh yeah, at my house one time, he turned to my friend Ian and said, "You can have my gundums and my gamecube." then he started to choke himselft with some metal fence wire. My mom (who is a very caring person) made him a PB & J sandwich and he acted like it never happened.

Two cousins and an uncle have committed suicide in my family. And a girl that I used to date tried to slit hir wrists and overdose on drugs, and then when that did not work, she tried to hang herself, but none of it worked. And she told me and I talked to her about it and told her about my family history and how upset it made me and the rest of my family and she realized how wrong she was and has never tried it again.

To anyone who thought my comments were inappropriate, i should probally say that for #1, this guy was a lot older than me. he was like a senior in high school when i was in 8th grade. 2nd of all, this guy had a very, VERY easy life. he'd only moved out of his house once, and his dad had about a $120,000 a year job, a big house, and other nice things. The only reason he probally wanted to do it was because he did a lot of drugs. as far as i know, he did pot, acid, esctacy, and i think he said he did coke once. And the only thing i told him was that its f-ing stupid. the other parts after that i didnt say, but was merely advice (although
i can now tell its not very good advice :( ).

I apologize to anyone i may have offended.

Man, this is sad I didn't know so many ppl commited suicide, especially relatives in your family. I wish people would realize what there about to do b4 they commit suicide. this is starting to depress me by talking about this so I'm just gonna submit this post.

cutting yourself is pretty stupid, goths are dumb (sorry to anyone who is a goth, lol, but its my opinion).

I use to be a pretty unhappy kid, but never thought of killing myself. I thought to myself though that I didn't mind if I died.

Now though, I don't think I'm quite ready to die. I still got lots to learn, see, and experience (lol).

Sports is a great thing to aid those that are unhappy. It clears your mind and makes you want to compete and be the best.

My sisters friend's little sister shot herself in the head, She was just 10. It was really sad because she was a chunkier kid and a whole lot of kids made fun of her at school for being heavy. That really bummed her out. That was so sad, it bummed me out when I found out.
