i think they should be a bit bigger.....maybe 80x80...........cuz alot of avatars i hv from other forums r tat standard sized..........

ULTIMATE said it'd mess the postbit up, but IMO it can be 85x85 without messing it up. Besides, the postbit currently sucks the way it is. :)

What does ULTIMATE mean by messin' up the postbit? It looks like the postbit can handle it.....I mean, Its not like its gonna be boarded by lines and whatnot.

If it was, say, 100x100, the information box at the right would be shorter than the avatar.

forget avatar restrictions, what about sig restrictions. There are some pretty big sigs around the forum.
I strongly agree to make the avatar size 80x80 then i can use my normal avatar from other sites.

You'll have to ask JustUsOwls or Sean-GCA about the sig restriction, and you have to ask Bill about making the avatar size 80x80

I don't really see a point in raising it to 80x80.....it's 5 pixels more, not much of an enlargement, hell many forums have a 50x50 avatar size, which is usually the universal size of avatars.

The size should stay like it is. It's good. If you want a image that is too small and you don't have Photoshop I can do it for you.

I tend to agree. Although it is a bit smaller than other forums I visit it's still big enough to see what your actual avatar is all about.

I think it's perfect the way it is. I used to have the full picture of kefka in my avatar, but with the new limit, I cropped it to be only his torso. I'm actually happy with the results, and I think it looks better that what I had before. 100*100 is just too much space taken up that can be text, y'know?

Besides, avatars don't really have to be hugely detailed or excessive. It's just a little pic that goes in the corner to suit your posting personality, or so people can recognize you quickly as it. Now, the sig is what is worth pouring your time into :p
