What did everyone think of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines? I personally loved it, but think it is the weakest in the series. There's no doubt that Terminator 2: Judgment Day is the best. Thoughts anyone?

I thought the original Terminator was the weakest, T2 will always be the best.

But yeah, T3 rocked it hardcore!

This movie was great. However, it lacked some things towards the storyline. The action was great, but some explaination would have been nice.

At first I wasnt into the whole 'Girl Terminator' thing, but I got used to it.

I like how the ending hinted another movie in the series :D

I liked Kristanna Loken. And that's about it. I would watch it again, just to see her. *drools*

I enjoyed T2 so much, I just knew T3 was going to ruin the story. I avoided this movie in the theater... one day I may catch it at a rental or on cable.

No offense but you have to be pretty young. The original Terminator is the strongest in terms of storytelling, part 3 is just eye candy with a used-up plot. Although the eye-candy is very delicious.

I agree with JustUsOwls
I thought the first was the weakest(but by no means crap), the second one reigned supreme and the third was a little below the second film, but still was good. I like all of them really.

Actually I am pretty young (16), which is probably why I wasnt really into the first one as much as I was the second.

I thought T3 was overrated and I didn't think it was as good as T2. If Ms. Loken wasn't in it then I would have watched it :)

T2 will always be the best.

It's too bad that T4 won't be happening until Schwarzenegger is out of office.

Gotta say that Prof is right. The original had an unstoppable machine pursuing a woman with only a man out of her timeline to try and protect her. Man VS Machine defined.

But to disagree with Prof, I gotta say that #2 was weakest in story, or the "eye candy". Now I loved #2 ( T-1000 rules), but unless I just can't remember properly, the story isn't really asffected, unless you count the destruction of that hand (which didn't really mean diddly once #3 came about).

#3 pretty much said that no matter what happens, the world will end and man will be wiped out by their own creations. Pretty powerful, imo.
