lol, Sam, you'll have to wait for slow Comcast. My ISP is generally fast with fixing things, and unlike Comcast, my ISP doesn't need 3 weeks to install someone's Internet. ;)

Meh. If I had a choice in the matter, I'd opt for hijacking a fiberoptic network line. But I don't.

The problem people are having is DNS servers. The way it works is your DNS server is your ISP's, unless you changed it.

Level 3, Qwest, Adelphia, Comcast, SBC/Yahoo! haven't changed over yet.

What that means is your browser gets the IP of gcadvanced.com wrong or can't get it. Thus, you can't get to the site. The reason the hope.myidealhost.com thing works is your DNS Server has that correct because it has been around. DNS changes often take up to a week to get to everyone, but should be 3-4 days for like 90% of people.
