 You mean to tell me that you never saw Fullmetal Alchemist before? I recommend that you see it because if you love Inuyasha then it really is impossible to hate Fullmetal Alchemist. They are showing an episode this Thursday on Adult Swim at 12:30 AM and 12:00 AM on Saturday. In case you didn't know.

I've only seen one episode of Full Metal Alchemist and I enjoyed it. That said I've seen several Inu-Yasha episdoes and loved them all. So Inu-Yasha gets the nod from as of now. Although FMA definately has some serious potential.

I like both, but I hate Inuyasha fanboys, just because they all seem whiney and immature to me. then again I'm sure Fullmetal alchemist will fall prey to the very same fanboys.
Fullmetal Alchemist gets the vote from me for being more creative when it comes to Story, plus for coming from one of my most favored game developing companies, Square-enix.

Well its your poll, you could have left that option out :) Then everyone would have to pick one or the other and not vote at all. Keep that in mind the next you make a poll.

I thought of that, but people how won't admit that they like on or the other, wouldn't have voted.

I know what I said!
I believe what narine was trying to say is that there is a correlation. Most Inuyasha fans are also FMA fans. This is the point that was trying to be presented here.
There was not an issue about storyline, plot, elements, etc.

FMA is better than Inuyasha if you're looking for an Anime which requires a base intellect greater than that of a 12 year-old. It's deep, provoking and delves into a mysterious science that has its roots in wizadry and magic. There's no use debating the whole basis of magic and science, but his Anime manages both with a great real-world feel. On top of that, each season progresses the story significantly, instead of stagnating in the middle with the odd plot device here and there. Best show for its length in recent years!
Now, I voted for both. Why? Because they aren't comparable, since Inuyasha is a completely different beast altogether. From the very beginning, you already know the hunt for the crystal shards will be long, and the number of monster encounters almost endless. While that is true for the most part, they provide enough significant battles between Inuyasha and Miroko/Sesshoumaru to keep the series fresh. Of course, character development is slow as molasses for the main character and the 2nd characters as it's such a long show, but the temp characters develop quite well and relate real well with what is going on with the main characters. For its length, its the best there is. While some may argue that Gundam is better, it has too much drama and soap-opera 'esque plot that its hard to take it seriously.
While FMA is better than Inuyasha for time restraint, if you have the time I recommend you see Inuyasha. Both are long, and if you're like me who's used to series' lasting 24 eps, these shows are [i]ver long. BUT, they are worth seeing. I'm currently at eps 30 something with FMA and I stopped at 36 in Inuyasha because I wanted to watch other Anime. I plan to pick up where I left off with Inuyasha eventually, but time right now is crap. And, given the number of movies there are and the fact it still isn't done, I'll probably wait till the summer to watch it all the way through. Both are highly recommended and shouldn't be compared, watch both in whichever order best fits your schedule. Happy viewing ^_^.
