Dragon Ball/Z/GT

This has to be my second favorite series after The Simpsons... Goku, Vegeta, Super Saiyan powers, its all good...

I use to like dbz alot but then i found a buncha other animes. :)

I still have about 50 episodes of dbgt on some burned cd's that i gotta get around to watching.

So far dbgt has been fairly um....'unenjoyable'.

I love DBZ. It's my fav show, second is Family Guy. I have like 50+ tapes of it (talking about DBZ). That's like 170 episodes! DBGT has so far sucked though. That white blob monster they were fighting was SO unoriginal. Goku blew him up, he came back together (remind u of someone?), he also could absorb people and turn them into ice blocks that looked just like *someone's* candy. That someone is of course Buu.

Baby looks alot like Buu. What ever happened to the DBZ Movie that was to be made. I haven't heard anything bout it in a while.

I like DBZ, havent seen much or any of GT though. Im thinking of posting a poll of the most pimp villian in DBZ history. right now i gotta say cell. i mean he doesnt just blow people up like frieza did, he frikkin sucked them up through his tail! And he had to eat two other bad guys to become the ultimate bad guy ( those happened to be the two of the coolest scenes ive seen in DBZ watching cell eat the androids). so cell, cell. hes our man! if he cant eat 'em maybe Buu can (probally not.)!

I used to watch DBZ on tv. The thing that got me angry is the ads. When ever something good is gonna happen you have to wait for 5 minutes.

I liked DB...was ecchi and an overall fun series.....

DBZ was awesome and all should've stopped at Cell.....but it went on....didn't have a problem with that since I loved Vegeta and seeing more of him was good for me....

DBGT shouldn't have been made...it just destroys DB's name....it's so stupid plot-wise and had crappy animation...it just isn't what it could've been....maybe if it was an OVA...with of course everything better made...

ya those stupid ads... sometiems you had to wait a while 24 hours cause they left it off at the good part... DB is sharply loosing its popularity though... something needs to happen to bring it back to fame.

I like DBZ and DB. I've never seen a full episode of DBGT. I got the full first saga on DVD for x-mas. :D I just don't have time to watch them. :(

Cell? CELL?!? Hellz no. Frieza was much more kickass. I mean Cell had the gay ass tail thing, and he had to eat people through his asshole just to become "powerful". Frieza was bad to the friggin bone and his cool calm self was kickass, except when he got pissed and shit started blowing up everywhere. Cell was cool but doesnt top Frieza. Plus the Cell / Vegeta battle was hella awesome. I wish he had more go time with Frieza though, woulda been NICE!

I havent seen Bebi (Baby) Vegeta in action yet but from what ive read its spose to be hella good too. Ill have to wait...

O and about the DBZ movie....I have no idea. I did see a poster for it on IGN, im sure u can find it if u search DBZ in IGN's movie database.

I liked both regular DB and DBZ, though they have fast become old. I still haven't caught up on the piccolo saga of DB so I don't know how that is.

I've seen most of DBGT through the wonders of subbing. It gets better as it goes along in the series. The first few episodes suck and the fact that Funimation/Cartoon Network cut the first 10 episodes of GT points to that as well. The first episode they show on CN, not sure about the DVD's, is just a summary.

The Bebi saga gets better after he takes over Vegeta and Goku comes back. SSJ4 is strange but kinda cool... I've only seen a few eps from the Super Android or whatever saga but those battles were pretty cool and the Dragon saga hasn't looked that bad either for the few episodes I've seen. Fusion with Goku and Vegeta can't be all that bad. Just wish they hadn't killed off Piccolo :\

Vegeta could easily destroy frieza aftert he Cell games...theres no competition... Vegeta is SSJ2 while Frieza is Frieza, he got beat up by Super Saiyan Goku, and Super Saiyan vegeta is stronger then Super Saiyan Goku (well at least when we first see them both SSJ)...

Dragonball was the best of the three. Honestly it made the most sense (power increasing and whatnot) and had REALLY funny moments, plus the people were well matched in strength

DBZ lost most of what DB had done (Goku was 300 power level when he died 1st time and had trained all his life but after 1 year in otherworld his strength increased to 5000?) and eventually Vegeta and goku become gods of strength compared to EVERYONE ELSE

and DBGT is just a hallow attempt by the animators to make money after the creater decided they couldn't push him to make more episodes (it was going to end at Freiza but the pushed for more and then at cell and they pushed for more, and he quit after Buu)

Forgot to mention that Gohan living by himself for 1 year gave him more strength than Gokus entire journeys in DB. Oh, lets not forget Gotan going SSJ after fighting with his mom, lol

Wow, people debating about power lvl's and other such *exciting* stuff about DB[letter(s)]. I will not rant about how horrible it is, but just direct your attention away from it and towards something proper. Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, and Neon Genesis Evangelion (or Rahxephon if you've seen NGE). Stop watching DB[letter(s)] and watch this now.

It's a nice anime to watch but not to be one of my favs...

Also consider Berserk....X...and the many anime movies....
Iwon't go on in saying anime titles...cause we all know how many good ones exist...

But if you guys love stuff like DragonBall than consider Hakusho... and Flame of Recca...
Even Grappler Baki is nice fighting fun!!

DBZ GT-awesome. There is no waying around for days looking at Goku and someone stare at each other, talk, and then stare again. Trigun, awesome! Vash the Stampede, untouchable. Bebop, awesome! The best of them all, Ninja Scroll. Second best La blue Girl! :) :P

Yu Yu Hakusho I find to be much better than DBZ. It takes spirit power on a more realistic power up level (the way people grow stronger and stuff at a steady pace instead of all of a sudden) and I like the fact that the hero was a punk and is throught the whole show

DBZ tends to be slow at times-sometimes episodes are full of talk and not enough violence! DB was the funniest, though. Then again, I haven't seen Excel Saga. Or Chobits. Or Ranma. So my opinion might change after I see those...

well I saw Dragon Ball tot, but still didn't see the GT episodes, but in my opinion the DB (not Z) was the best one, it had the most sense, in Z it was to much unlogical, and etc. in DBZ starting Vegeta could blow up a planet in 1 second from space (16000 power level) and in the end of Z it was hard to blow up a planet with 1000 times stronger energy... in DB I liked that they were training and when fighting not the power was the main thing it was tactics and etc. they were thinking how to fight and win.. in Z they just fighted without thinking, but with showing their power and always was saying "I will kill you, I'm stronger" or "I was just prepearing for the real fight" .. etc. but as to above posts, an anime fan needs to see DBZGT that he would know whats going on :) Cheers

Exactly what i was saying (until you mentioned watching GT). Dragon Ball is the best of the 3 series, because it is logical, and it had relavent conversations... the only thing that bugged me was Goku would make friends with people and never see them again
