Anything that calls attention to the poor job of are President is okay with me. You can't run our country by soundbites. Gay marriage isn't gonna improve our economy or tighten our security.

Songs are getting too political nowadays.

And the song sucks because rap sucks.

I like rap even though I think that Eminem smacktalks to much.

What mainstream have you listened to, lately? I don't know about the underground of any genre, but I'm pretty sure there aren't very many politically involved tracks out there playing on people's radios. In any event, why would that be a bad thing? Creating a song about things that have a direct bearing upon your day-to-day life and building controversy that can get you off your *** and go researching and in the process, self-educating yourself about your government you have to live under is bad? Well, then...

And what the hell kind of reasoning is that? Simply because the song falls under a genre you don't like, the song is instantaneously bad? Let's try listening to the song and understanding what he says in it before stamping the Hate label all over it.

I like rap even though I think that Eminem smacktalks to much.

Once again, this is a question about this specific song, not the entire genre. And what does his smacktalking have to do with anything? Just this song.

In any event, I like the song. It's got a good, political theme while maintaining classic Eminem style. A perfect blend, in my opinion, of the two, and pinpoints issues through [mostly] slick disguising of the clever lyrics.

Lets put this perspective on it, my dad doesn't like Eminem, but was impressed with the video and the messege in the song so much that he sent it out to his coworkers.

The last mainstream artists I can think of to get polical were Rage Against The Machine and Public Enemy. Both were huge just for the reason that lots of their songs were politically based. This is Emenem's first political song, will he do anyothers is up to him. You could take the names of Bush and Kerry out and replace with any other current president/senator and it would still sit. I am a fan of Eminem myself. I liked the song not only because I am a fan, but because of the messege to "mosh" together as a force.

I agree with all but one line.

This is Emenem's first political song

Technically, this is his second, with "White America" being more or less his first.

When someone who could give a rats @$$ about politics and has never voted gets pissed enough to do a song like this you have to sit up and take notice. The country is going down the crapper, no matter what your political leanings are thats a fact that you can't spin. The simple fact of the matter is that neither party addresses certain issues. Unfortunately for all of us, the one they are avoid are the ones that matter most.

I hated it. It had a stupid message and the whole music video was retarted. I hate it when the stars get all political.

Saw it on MTV2. Good video, sh*tty song. Then again, my taste in music isn't in this particular field, but I like the point the video by itself makes.
