Take a look at gamerankings.com. There are 66 Xbox games that are rated 85% or better, and 47 GC games that are rated 85% or better. You see only what you want to see.

I'm not trying to pit GC against Xbox like you - they are both great systems. Wise up. I enjoy playing games, not being loyal to a certain company.

I believe a certain level of company loyalty is reasonable, and in fact excpected. To a point. Everyone here has thier favorite game series, and have a natural inclination to one system over the other. However, when you let your bias cloud your better judgment, or let it keep you from enjoying the rich horizon of gaming to be found by those who don't let thier bias drive them, then that's when you've crossed the line into fanboyish-ness and have lost sight of just what gaming's all about.

Look at it this way. Do you get payed by any of these companies to discredit and badmouth thier competition? Does your doing so effect them in any real way? No, so why bother? That's something to think about....

I have a hard time believing that someone who's gone so far out of his way to make clear his negative sentiments of the XBox (by spamming several threads with the same tired message) would own one, much less two.

The real truth is that ALL gamers are fanboys. They ALL have loyalties to one company over another.

I love my X-Box, but it's seriously lacks good games. Which is why MS fanboys would love to see MS buy Nintendo. At least it would give them something to play on that barren system.

I also love my GameCube and I'm damn proud to say it.

As for my Ps2, well that system is the biggest overhyped disappointment I have ever purchased. It sits neglected for months while my Dreamcast uses it as a stand.

In the end, I go where the games are. It's just that certain systems have more good titles than others.

The main reason I own 2 X-Box systems is because, one is cracked, and I use it as an emulation machine, and the other is just for playing Halo multiplayer with my friends.

And in the end there's still only a handfull of good games for that system.

I asked you in the shoutbox to elaborate on that opinion, and I'm sorry to say that I'm dissapointed with your reasoning.

It's a flawed theory, based around your assumption, even if you're only aware of it on a sub-conscience level, that everyone on Earth thinks the way you do. That's not the case at all.

Again, if you must label me a fanboy, then label me a gaming fanboy. I love gaming as a whole, and while I do have my favorite games and systems, I'm more then happy to have the ability to play the full spectrum of what gaming has to offer across all available systems. Being being biased doesn't facilitate that.

What do you consider good games? Because the experts that play games on all systems for a living rated 66 games on Xbox 85% or better. That is more than a handful.

PS2 has 85 games with a 85% or better rating on gamerankings.com. I agree it is overrated, but if I was only going to own one system, it would be PS2.

I dont believe a word game rankings has to say. If you dont know that reviewers are often "influnced" by the companies who publish games, then you really need to learn the truth.

And everytime I play my ps2, I notice how bad the games look compared to my GCN and my X-Box.
