you go in your options where you put your signature. and you take an image url or a sig url that somebody made you. mine is an image i found. then you put in the sig [img ] the urls of the pic then [/img ] with no spaces

If you need a good image host check out www.photobucket.com Then upload your sig and as GodCube said go to your User CP > Edit Profile then making sure you have the URL to your uploaded sig place [ img] yoururlgoeshere [/img ]

Ok, you're getting the red X which is a sign that the image tag is working but there is something wrong with the host of your image. Are you trying to link an image from Geocities? Or have you uploaded your picture on the internet? I will use the banner on the top of these forums as an example.
[im g]http://www.gcadvanced.com/forums/images/GCA/banners/0.jpg[/im g]
Without the space between the g, it becomes
http://www.gcadvanced.com/forums/images/GCA/banners/0.jpg
If you like you can send the image you want uploaded via an attachment to jozenshin@hotmail.com and i'll host it for you and give you the code so you can just copy and paste it in.

Heh, the addy is wrong - if you stick into the addybar of your browser, you simply get a 404 error. Gotta check the addy of your pic! Right-click on it, and choose Properties- its URL is there.

What i did was, i saw a picture banner i liked, in this case it was my Sepultura one. I right clicked on the image, went down to properties high-lighted and copied the Address or URL, mine looked like this
"http://www.sepultura.com.br/shared/downloads/SEPULTURA-Banner.gif".
You then go to the "User Cp" tab at the top of the forum, then into the "Edit Profile" tab. Then where it says "Signature" just look right and you'll see it has a box across from it. Paste the Address or URL you copied into it and then add
" "
at the start exactly like i've put it with no spaces next to the URL. At the end put,
""
exactly like you did with the first one. Mine looks like this
" http://www.sepultura.com.br/shared/downloads/SEPULTURA-Banner.gif[/IMG.]"
( That dot before the last bracket was put there so you could see what I put, dont do it when you put it for your sig, right click on the picture down from this and go to properties, then down to Address/URL if you want to see what i'm talking about)
[IMG]http://www.sepultura.com.br/shared/downloads/SEPULTURA-Banner.gif"
It should work now, if it dosent it means theres a problem with the site you got it off. Hope this helps
The code is easy... Ignore the php formatting...

Yea, that's it - although HTML uses double-quotes to enclose the addy (if it's a link, not a picture), vBCode doesn't. You can end up with dodgy addies that way.

and you need to put
You need and instead of (img) and (/img). You also need to find the actual URL instead of the URL with the "..." (that means you likely copied and pasted it from some message board)
You need to find a link of the image not the page.

Oh, I see thanks. I did copy and paste it but not from a message board. lol And GBA, I had the url but I couldn't get it to show the image (until Monique told me) so I put the web address in so if people wanted to see the picture (the Viewtiful picture might I add;)) they could just type it in at the top and click enter to see the picture.
