I dunno what you're talking about... that's 8 first-party titles at launch. I can say I don't beleive any nintendo console yet has had that many first-party titles right from the get-go, and remember, this is only first-party. It's looking to be a VERY promising launch. Already 6 titles I'd definately buy, and thsoe are just from Nintendo. I hope Pictochat comes with the system, though, cause i wouldn't buy it, but it would be neat.

This is Spong...so I'd take it with a grain of salt. And yeah, I think 8 launch titles is a bit much. I don't think Nintendo wants to eat into possible sales of third party products already?

Interesting. But I wouldn't hold my breath. Nintendo may delay any of those titles(except for Mario 64x4) for sure.

I think wateva we will find in stores when the console launches will be awesome.....nintendo are really trying their best since E3 ....... and they are continuing....
Altho 8 titles is alot, i also think most will not make it to the market in time for launch....+ there are the 3rd party titles (!!!!!).......

Well if they really want to get a very good head start on the PSP then that is fine. They know what will make the DS popular. Zelda DS, Mario DS, Metroid DS. Just those three name insures that it will sell. Wait till pokemon comes out on the DS. I don't think the PSP will stand a chance.
The PSP will stand a chance... just because of the name itself. Playstation is too popular of a name. People purchase name brands. I know plenty of people who will get it for sports games on the go, or something dumb like that. FF on the go. Grand Turismo on the go.... etc.

....wen they also have it on the ps2 ; tssssssssss............
keyword: portable.
If nintendo made a NP (the nintendo version of PSP) that played gamecube games, hell yeah I'd buy it!

But would you buy the exact same game again at "probably" the same price as the home console game ?????
Hope you have wallets full of money if ever.......
If the game is good enough, yes I would. My wallet is full of plastic, actually.

Hm, 8 first party titles do seem to be a bit much. I sure hope third party can match that star power or DS might have a problem.
