Just random thoughts. Feel free to add your own.

Luigi who?

~ If Neil Armstrong was the first man on the moon, then how was there a camera man there filming him?

Wow, I never thought about that.

Some were saying the flag looked like wind was blowing it: I heard it was used with aluminum foil or something like that to make it look that way. How true it is I don't know. I wouldn't doubt they (the U.S. government or any government) would lie anyway.

Alright, mo fo's...get yourselves outta this thread and to the anything thread.

...but since I'm already here, I'm pretty certain that man was on the moon. And yeah, I think it was a staelite camera...did Neil even get filmed coming out of the craft? I thought they just heard him say "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."

No, this is not just like the anything thread. This is just random thoughts, I just did it for fun. On the anything thread, people say what's on their mind, and other people comment on it or branch off. This thread is supposed to be totally random, I didn't expect people to latch on to one idea.

Haha, sorry for being offtopic, but the Neil Armstrong lunar landung was actually a hoax. It was actually filmed in Southern US (Either Texas or New Mexico, forgot which), and anyways, it was done to scare the Soviets into thinking the Americans were ahead, putting another stake in the USSR's coffin and leading to the end of the cold war. Look for the video of the landind, and you can actually see the flag blowing in the wind.
-btw, yes, we have ACTUALLY now landed on the moon :p

sorry again for that, I just thought it was neccesary, and making a new topic for it would be wasteful. Back to the randomness!

ok here is my question for all the moon-landing skeptics...

Arent the people at NASA supposedly the smartest people in the country if not the world? All the proof ive heard of the landing being fake seems like small stupid details like wind was blowing the flag and someone else was filming him. Since when is there a breeze on a closed set? Unless they filmed outside for all the world to see...

Anyways, i heard that Armstrong messed up the line or something, he was supposed to say something other than "...giant leap for mankind" Anyone remember what it was?

(yes that line was scripted which the government openly admits, which i doubt they would do if the rest of the mission were fake)

There is a lot more than just little stupid things like the wind is blowing the flag (and by the way thats considered a big thing). Look it up on the internet and you'll see what I mean.

Yeah, wind blowing on the moon shouldn't happen, seeing as how their is not supposed to be any air or wind on the moon at all.

Why do Americans call jam jelly?

Wh|tE gUy
11-26-2003, 12:04 AM
jam and jelly are two different things. Jelly is more gelatanous (like jellow) while jab is more...eh....gritty? not quite sure the right word for it but theres definitely a difference

Just Gabriel

Jam is more syrupy and runny... Either way, jelly has gelatin in it and jam is just boiled down fruit.

Silliw2, the camera showed Neil getting out of the shuttle. And then later it showed him dancing about. I also remember something about the shadows. Like, the people had shadows but if they were on the moon then they wouldn't, or something like that. It was fake anyway.

Also, as for the jam bit. I've never eaten jam thats been syrupy and runny. Ours is pretty solid, like jelly

Alright people, first off, the "fake landing" has never been proved. There is wind in space, from what I can remember. I may be wrong, but I swear I remember reading about cosmic winds.

Why wouldn't they have shadows on the moon? The sun is visible. Light makes shadow, no?

Anyway, until it's actually proved (websites by anti-government nerds doesn't convince me), the lunar landing happened and Neil Armstrong was on the moon.

Enough about the moon landing. If you want to talk about it, start a new thread.

If you make a thread like this (and IMO Anything thread is 10x better and this can be done there) you BETTER be prepared to have conversation. You can't make any type of rule saying you can't discuss what has been posted.

EDIT: 45 C is over 110 F. That's HOT.

Anyway, I don't see how the moon land could be constructed as a hoax. This happened near the height of the cold war, and if it was fake I bet the USSR would have jumped on the US for it. *puts on tinfoil hat*

ya, i only hear americans denying it

And again i ask, how come there would be a breeze on a closed set? thats as illogical as breeze in space. I mean the air conditioning would have to be going pretty damn hard inorder to lift a freaking flag

Why the fucking hell do you keep bringing things back from the dead? Are you just trying to make us angry?

High school people get involved in relationships with each other because being close to people comforts us. Things like this are not hard to understand, SO STOP FUCKING BRINGING BACK OLD THREADS EVERY WEEKEND

I beg your pardon, but you seem to be the only person that I am making angry. And that you get upset over such a trivial issue (as well as the string of curse words) only proves that you have the brain capacity of a 9 year old.

You idiot, are breaking the rules. I'm not sure if you understand that or not, but rules like that wouldn't be there if they didn't make people angry. Stop being a fool and see what you are doing.
