Talk about Prop 8 or this'll just straight up be deleted.

This vote will only affect Californians, yet Coral's up in arms about it like this actually concerns him. There's a world of difference there if you look closely enough.

Maybe you've never been a part of a minority before. If I were gay I would most certainly be concerned about Prop 8 because of future implications it could have in other parts of North American or even the world. Things like this tend to start small and have a way of spreading over time. Do you honestly think that if there were a group of blacks slaves in Canada that blacks in Oakland California shouldn't or wouldn't be concerned?

Excellent point Epic, Apartheid bothered me as a kid and that was on a whole other continent. Prop 8 would most likely set a precedent that would frame similar measures across the country. That is often what happens in the US. There were a wave of measures introduced in each individual state after the first referendum defining marriage as "a union between a man and a woman" passed.

Again, there's a difference between being concerned about something and acting as though something DIRECTLY affects you. I don't have to be black or a women or homosexual to understand that, and quite frankly, I don't appreciate the sentiment that I'm incapable of understanding because I'm not a minority.

However, some rules apply (breaking these rules might result in post alteration/removal) :
Direct (and some indirect) insults will not be tolerated. Attack the argument, not the person. Don't create threads about members. You'll only get beat down and recommended for a ban.
No offensive language or media are allowed.
Respect eachother. If you don't agree with somebody, don't take it so personally (especially since personal attacks and insults won't be tolerated).

Either someone had his post altered, or someone just got really random.:brow:

If an admin or anyone hit that outside of going into the server (or a hacked login) that's legit. The software here even stamps a name/time if an admin jerks around with a post.

Hold up, I just caught this. Did Coral actually make a thread about me?

Funny. With all the rules in place there's not really that much left to say. :P
