You may not know, or even care that the anime Fullmetal Alchemist was liscensed, but I thought I'd let you know that in the future it will be shown on Cartoon Network. I don't know when it will be shown.

FMA was one of the more popular animes in japan and always had thousands of people downloading it through bittorrent. If you couldn't watch it before, I strongly suggest paying some attention to it when it comes to the states.

FullMetal is a sick anime...but they'll probabally tone down some the content (unles they show it on adult swim). The game's gonna come here too, I think.

i don't get what's so great about this anime.. i've watched 6-7 episodes due to the constant praises my friends gave me.. and i still didn't find anything special about it.. maybe i should've watched a little more? i don't know.. can anyone fill me in on why it's so damn good?

Thats because you didn't get that far with the story. It progresses quite alot after the initial episodes, with the Philospher's Stones, the Homonuclus (the fat guy, Gluttony and his gang) and much more.

Yeah, it's going to have to go on Adult Swim. And yes, the game is coming over here to the states, only on the PS2 I believe.

yea, well i'm a huge anime fan [love hina, evangelion, hajime no ippo, princess mononoke, kenshin/ova, gundam seed- just to name a few].. and i don't go looking down on anime so easily. but i really didn't find the qualities that everyone else saw in it. the jokes were corny.. and i started to get sick of the initial supernatural plot just like how naruto/dbz is. the only thing i liked was the intro song ;x don't be offended by my words.. maybe i'm a dumbass that's terribly ignorant , but i don't know.. it just doesn't have the appeal to me

The plot does get much deeper and has a few good surprises and twists (episode 26, I believe, was enthralling). But I can understand that if you can't stand the begining, how are you going to progress in the story? You most likely wouldn't even like the rest of the story. So, yeah, whatever. =p

Full metal is a sweet anime show. The game will for sure be good. Its by square, but they also do have enix. That damn ******* enix. They should have never merged.

Ooh, I watched a few eps of this on Japanese telly during my exchange, but when I came back no-one knew what I as talking about. Obviously I could only pick up bits and peices of story, but it was funny as hell and had great animation IMO.

Will it be getting a DVD release eventually? I don't have cable...
