When you drink stuff, do you prefer cans or bottles?
Personally, I really like drinking from styrofoam. I dunno why. But if I had to pick, I'd go cans. Everything seems more fizzed when it's from a can.

Bottles. I prefer to be able to reseal my non alcoholic beverages and I refuse to drink beer out of a can.

You refuse to? But... it's delicious.
And it's not so easy to puncture holes in the bottom of a bottle for sucky.

I agree with Darc.

I can't vote until you specify glass or plastic bottles. Not trying to make it difficult but it makes a huge difference.

Depends. I prefer bottles, but they suck when you buy two six packs only to realize you don't own a bottle opener.

Really? Wot is the difference?

Ugh. I agree. Sleemans can go to hell just for that reason.

Glass bottles.
Cans, you can taste the metal. Plastic, you can taste the plastic.
With glass, it seems refreshing and nice especially since back in the day bottles were reused.
I haven't had a Pepsi in a bottle since 1998, but damn did it taste good. Same goes with yoohoo and iced tea.
I don't really drink beer.

Plastic bottles are worse than cans at keeping things cold while glass bottles do a much better job than either of the two. I guess since I'd pick one form of bottle over a can then I'll just vote that way.

Glass bottles only. I once saw myself drinking out of a can and an image of King of the Hill popped into my head. That was the end of cans in my house. Bottles just look better overall, but I hardly drink anyway.

My order of preference, in the case of beverage vessels goes something like this:
Tankard
Glass
Bottle (glass)
Mug
Can
Carton
TipTup (Blokey probably remembers these - they're still around but not called tiptup anymore)
Take of that what you will.

^Where do "Sippy-Cup", and "Anything Accompanied by a Nipple, rubber or otherise", rank on your list?

Depends on the beverage, obviously. Soft drinks just taste better in cans, for some reason... they taste sharper and more exciting; they always seem flatter in bottles, somehow. Water or juice I prefer in a plastic bottle, as it's lighter and more portable. Grog in glass bottles or cans; I'm not fussy (in plastic bottles would be weird, though... don't think I've ever seen it) and they're both pretty prevalent.
Also, chocolate Big M (milk) tastes far superior in a carton over a plastic bottle. Why? Only the goddesses can say.

You're not a real uni student if you don't have a bottle opener on you at all times.

Depends on what kind of drinking Im doing. If I need to get ****ed up fast, cans for the win. Otherwise, bottles. Beer tastes so clean and refereshing coming out of a glass bottle.

Rensa: I learned to do it with the corner of a desk or something similar, thus I am prepared no matter where I go.

Apparently some of you have never had a soft drink like Coke or Pepsi in a glass bottle. There is simply no better way to drink them, as the taste is a thousand times better and they are kept much much colder.

I couldn't agree more. Still, I like to be able to reseal my drinks, and I don't want my container to be broken so easily.

Exactly, also the next time any of you have a beer, I strongly urge you to try it in one of these...

Seriously, a pewter tankard improves the taste and temperature of any beer (or any cold drink for that matter). I always use mine when drinking at home.

Dude, they had one of these in Resident Evil 4 and if you attached the 3 jewels to it you could sell it for like 30,000 pesetas. ;)

I'ma gettin' me some jewels asap!
Seriously though, find one and try it the next time you have a beer (they're actually very cheap). The difference it makes is incredible.
