Not to my knowledge. Not one based solely on the info that is to be gathered at E3.

cant wait for the games to start rolling, but I'm not too excited about the new DS, it just sounds too cliched because we all it will have the usaul Mario and Pokemon games to go with it, I want some entireely new franchises

But we don't know that for sure, new member whom I haven't heard of because he's only posted twice and I haven't been here in a while. We could have completely new franchises with the NDS. When you think about it, even if they ported Ocarina of Time and Mario 64 to the DS (see another thread), then they would still feel like new games, because of the dual screened format. I actually hope that they port them to the DS.

And, if rumors are true, then Nintendo will reveal all sorts of new titles at E3, and not just the same old Mario and Pokemon games. But I expect both franchises to be there on the DS.

No it's not. It's coming much quicker than I expected it to. The bad thing: I won't get to see what the DS looks like until tomorrow, I won't be home until about midnight tonight (baseball game).

I changed the DPI of the the presumed DS pic to 300 in photoshop and optimized it the best I could. Does anyone know of that game screen/map being in MKDD!!? (Note: this is my first image post attempt, so if it doesn't work don't throw me to the dogs.)

Fake... how are the screens supposed to combine to form one??

Well, perhaps when that funtionality was announced, they meant that both screens could be used together.

For example:
In the demo game that usatoday mentioned, it says that you have to draw clouds under a falling infant mario. Instead of the falling mario being restricted to the top screen, perhaps he could fall down to the the bottom screen and when a user draws a cloud (on the bottom screen) he would float back up to the top screen until his cloud dissipated. Yes the screens would be separated by black space, but the jump from one screen to the next would be seamless...much like two PC monitors that work together.

As for the authenticity of this pic, I really can't be sure, but I don't think that the screens have to be slam-up next to each other horizontally to work together as one screen. Think of Ikaruga laid out over both screens!

Probably a fake...look to much 80's to me.

The front page says it's supposidly the real deal. I guess we'll find out for sure in a couple of hours.

edit:

By the way, does that have shoulder buttons?

Yes it has shoulder buttons, they look like little rubber circles on the back of the system.

I hope there will be different colors, the one they have now looks a little old school to me, to compete with the PSP, everything must be right.
