The talking hand/parasite thingy is funny... imo, added levity to the movie a little. I don't fully understand why it's there though, does it get explained in the first one? Or in the novel?

it has been a long time since i have seen the first but i believe it does explain a little. I just hope they make more of the Vampire Hunter D movies because there is like 5 books.

I know both VHD movies are available here (UK) on DVD, but try as I might I cannae find them in any stores.
