Shortly after joining this forum, I got a message from a person named "abigail" in my inbox. It basically read "Hi, I'm new here, how's it going?" and below it would be some religious quote. This person said she was new, but it said she joined in March 2007 (about a year before I joined). I thought nothing of it at first, until I encountered the exact same message on numerous other gaming forums (which shall remain nameless). And to be honest, it's freaking me out.

Anybody else encounter this problem?

We banned that user... we thought (s)he was a bot, because they were always 'logging in'. But it didn't work, for some reason; the session always seemed to be stuck on 'logging in', so the ban didn't really do anything. We didn't think much of it, since they couldn't actually do anything (they just showed up as present). If they're actually PM'ing you, best put them on your ignore list.
