Ok, I'll start by introducing myself to those of you who are new to GCA.
I'm "Carlos X" yes, my username is the same, but only sans the "X" at the end of my name. I go by the name of "Nintendo X" at many forums, I started using that name here at GCA, this place is the birthplace of my existance in forums, so I am a very loyal veteran.
I've been here with the others for well over two years now. I'm very well known by the veterans of this place. I've had my share of good times, and bad times, but all in all....I've had memories here. Oh, that's one of the things that made GCA what it is today: Memories.
When I got here, I started as moderator, I also wrote for GCA as a staff writer for months and months, making lots of news every....single.....day. That set a new standard for the entire News Team. I continued to work, days, and nights......staying up, using up all my energy. I've worked so hard for GCA, that I created a new popularity for them, I didn't get any thanks or anything....but I've always prided myself in my dedication to GCA, I've been promoted to higher and higher ranks here, its all thanks to my passion for GCA.
I've been involved in some of the most memorable feuds here at GCA. We have always had memories here, no matter the occasion. Hah. I remember doing the roundtables, they were cool, the debates were awesome too.
Finally, I've written two to four articles, two of them recieved a five star ranking at GameRankings.
I'm a college student who have just turned 21 last february.
My introduction in place, let me speak to the veterans here, please.
Sooo......we meet, guys. Its been a long, long time since we've met. I really need to make a AIM thread (or someone else. *shifty*) for all of us to get in touch. I have missed many of you guys! :( I hate being away from you guys.
What have you guys been doing all year? Me? Well, college mostly, and job, too, heh. Over the summer, I spent time with my family, and friends, going out, to great america, raging waters, and lastly, clubbing. Its been an experience.
I've also been talking to girls, too.....:) I tried to go out with one of the girls, and that failed....she lied to me over and over again, and I ultimately stopped seeing her, talking to her, hanging out with her....but I will tell you this, I've had fun with her.....its been an memorable year for me.
Recently, I've been hanging out with family, and friends, we went out to many different places, had more laughs than last year alone. Its fun. :cool:
So, anyway, I've also been posting at many forums lately, too...So, I made more friends than just here at GCA. At one forum, I reached 1,000 posts, earned both a Staff title, and a Mod title, then at NNow, I've been posting more, and more. Almost at 3,000, and at TFO, I reached almost 4,000, got banned at both sites eventually, because of the constant flamming going on at both, yes, I got myself involved with the feuds. Brandon and I recieved an award for best feud at TFO. It was the longest feud since the Ikonboard days. Ah, the memories.
I'd like to say this to our new members here at GCA: Stay here at GCA, you'll love it here....There will be new friends, new people, and new memories....
