Those Who Hunt Elves

The first manga's out, anyone read this manga yet? It's a great slap stick comedy about a group of three humans that somehow got transported to a fantasy world populated with elves and monsters. In order for these three people to go back to their own world, they got to locate these marks on females elves....so they go town to town and stripe clothing off female elves, oh, and you also got this military tank that thinks it's a cat and it meows. Good stuff.

Heh, I haven't picked up the manga yet, something to do with my bank account in the single digit level (I'm patient that I grow a money tree), but I HAVE seen the first season of the Anime. First off, it's a great funny series to see, though kind of stale in that it's basically "Go find hottest elf around, strip it naked, look for tattoo, rinse and repeat". Mind you, there's a WHOLE lot of fun to be had by watching this show, from the invincible martial arts guy, to the Russian T4 toting gun-nut chick. Heh, and the tank being a cat is a long story, involves little to no gas in a medieval world and a cat spirit that causes trouble by controlling inanimate objects. I still have yet to get ahold of the second season, which is similarily the same formulae of strip, stare and find another. The second season is a result of Jun Pei (martial arts guy) acting like the masochist prick he is. I've said/spoiled enough as it is now, I recommend watching the series or reading the manga, or both. Another welcome addition to the decent Anime world, despite the formulaic plot.
