Kimagure Orange Road

Ah, Ok, this is one of those Romantic Comedies, with the same generic formula: boy meets girl A, girl B....boy is stuck in the middle. It's somewhat like Maison Ikkoku. The main characters resembles Kyoko and Godai sometimes. The main character, Kyousuke, looks like Ranma sometimes. I found that just plain cute. So basically, this is an old anime, somewhat. It's based on a manga in the 1980s, and the anime was made in the late 1980s.

The story starts off with Kyousuke, a 15 year old boy, moving to a new city. His whole family are ESPers, or practices ESP (levitation, teleportation, etc) With abuse from these powers from one of Kyousuke's sister, they have to move several times within a short time frame...And so, the story begins...

Kyousuke, going to school, met Ayukawa Madoka, a tough but sweet girl. he also met Hiyama Hikaru, a very hyper, and active girl, that falls in love with Kyousuke.

So, Hikaru loves Kyousuke, she follows him about, and lugs around him. Kyousuke, on teh other hand, has his eyes on Madoka, who is tough around most guys, but once you really know her, she's sweet. A nice formula for a comical anime.

Like: What i like about this anime is the comical aspect of it. One of the main focus is teh ESP powers the siblings uses. and it incorpoartes in teh animes. I love how Madoka is very tough, she's the type that drinks, and have a deep past...yet, she's sweet when it comes to Kyousuke. Kyousuke tell teh story from his perspective; and there's moments when the story stops, to focus on his thoughts.

Dislikes: What I don't like about this, is that the formula is very typical. You have this guy, and two girls love him so. Madoka is jealous when he's around Hikaru, and it's just very overused, with the love triangle thing.

Where you can get it at: You can find it at some anime import stores; or even online....but it will be those chinese subtitles versions. It's not fully licensed, but you might be able to cath it at some rental store.

So, if you're into Romantic Comedies, this is highly reccomended....If you're into MARS, Marmalade Boy, and others such titles, you'll have fun with this anime series...
