My friend lent me some episodes of this anime...and it is great. Its like an adventure comedy kinda thing (alot of anime is like that) but it is not one of those epics. Very light story, but not too light it is non-existent.
Has anyone else seen it yet?

all my roomates watch it... I'm a HUGE fan of anime... but this one seems a bit TOO mainstream for me. Not a bad anime at all - great for first-time anime watchers... just the plot takes too many hits. I prefer the classics like Cowboy Bebop, GTO, Outlaw Star, Grave of the Fireflies, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Trigun, Vandread, Love Hina, and Escaflowne.

If I had enough money to buy the classics, I would. I'm just getting into anime too, so give me some time and I'll eventually get hardcore. I'm only in episode 7 right now, so the plot hasn't become a side show yet.

Hmm, first 20 episodes or so of naruto is real good.. i duno, but like Ray said, it's a little too mainstream for me. Actually, me and Ray has a lot in common. Most of his anime that he listed above are my favorites.. here's additional recommendations: Hajime No Ippo, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Gundam Seed, and Hikaru No Go. You should give 'em a try along with the ones Ray has mentioned =]

I just started. There are 78 episodes out, but the manga goes into the hundreds. I'm only on voume 2 of the manga and episode 11 of the anime. I plan on catching up on the anime, but I doubt I'll ever catch up on the manga because they're expensive and hard to find. I could download it though.....
