I love this system...SNES has to be the best... even better than Gamecube, they had such a huge library of games with alot of them possessing high quality... this is something Nintendo should think about...recreating all SNES hits for the Gamecube or possibly the new Nintendo console that's coming out in 2005... that would be a treat not even Sony and Microsoft can match...

there will be no chrono trigger remake for SURE, seeing as it's already been released on the SNES AND the PSX.

But, they have been working on a sequel for a few years now (they might actually start development soon) for the next game in the series, Chrono Break. While Chrono Cross was actually a sequel (for those who paid attention to the small details and ties to th first game), Chrono Break is upposedly going to be a complete sequel of the first game.

Ya, no other system made can even hold a light to SNES. Great control and the graphics actually looked good. Sure things were 2d, but they were GOOD LOOKING 2d not like the BAD LOOKING 3d in the following generation of consoles.

I thought they were going to release CT on the Cube? I've got a magazine with screens and a preview. Not a detailed one but one nevertheless. I think it's got screens anyway

nah if there is any CT remake at all it would most likely be on gba. why would they want to put it on cube?

Sadly Squareenix hasnt even started working on Chrono Break all they've done is register the name of the game. Ive got high hopes that nintendo will get them to put CB on either gamecube or N5 once they start workin on it. :)

Ok, here's something to think about regarding the SNES

Most of my friends are casual gamers, and in fact, only 3 of us hame gamecubes (everyone else has either a ps2, an xbox, or both)

But, if you asked ANY one of us what our favorite console was, the answer would be the same

It's true that many SNES games are being ported to the GBA, but it still only has 2 face buttons, so many games are exempt without completely changing the control scheme (metroid fusion did a good job in that respect, but not all games can be done)

Maybe the GB5 will have 4 face buttons, and will be able to take in more SNES ports?

Donkey Kong was great, but Killer Instinct wasn't all that good...infront of Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter, thiers no comparison...

Enix had some great titles too which I have in my collection.

Soul Blazer and Illusion of Gaia!!! These games are great zelda type games. I love the music too. Soul Blazer has some catchy funky beats man.

About the SNES fighters.

I actually was anti-Street Fighter in the MK days :D. But it wasn't till I bought a used Street Fighter 2 turbo that I really began to realize that SF was an awesome series.

I still like MK the best then it's KI. I loved doing combos and such with KI. I'm the best with Inferno(I know he's the cheapest guy)

I used to love Unirally and Smash TV - fortunately Smash TV will be available on some new arcade compilation that's coming out for the Cube soon, but I wish they'd make an update to Unirally... that game was CRAZY! (and very fast!).

You can import a Controller for the Gamecube that is the same size and shape as a SNES controller. One of these days I am going to order one for use with the Gameboy Player.
