View Full Version : Supernatural Beings
Have you guys ever wondered what lurks around us or even on other plants? It's a creepy thought when you think about it... their has been some tests that have shown that their was life...at Mars at one point...I mean, what kind of things inhabitied that area....
I've always believed there are "aliens" but I don't think we're ever going to see any

Yeah, I've always been afraid of lurking ladybugs on tree leaves!
;)
I really don't know. I don't think about it until I see people on television say "I'VE SEEN A UFO!!" and in that case I generally think they want attention or they are crazy.

I know there has to be life on other planets (earth is just the only one in our system because we are the only one with ALL of the requirements--water, good temperature, stable atmosphere)
But unless we find a way to move through space besides just rocketting around, there's no way we'll ever see it. It takes light from other stars decades to get here, and we'd have to travel FASTER than the speed of light to be able to get there in a lifetime. Plus, at those speeds, human cannot survive.
Well, I don't think we should explore. Why? Besides, everything we need is on Earth, so why bother looking and wasting time? We'll never find out in our lifetimes, anyway. lol
Lee, you are so naive. Earth's resources are being used up by, guess who, humans. If humans want to survive, they need to either learn how to save their resources, or how to find a suitable extraterrestrial place to live.
Anyway, back to the main topic. I think that extraterrestrial life exists in the universe. How could it not, as big as the universe is?
I think the loch ness monster is real. I think that the only reason dinosaurs died out is beacause people killed them. I read this book about it and it's very convincing.

Oh, and guess what? We'll never be able to reach it. You will die before all resources are used, so it shouldn't be your concern. It's not mine. But yeah, going twice as fast as the speed of light would still be slow for traveling....

I meant speed of light, and I didn't see your post. Doesn't it take like hundreds of years before some stars reach us? Even if the theory about black holes warping us (or whatever) is true, it'd take us too long to reach them, too.
I'm sorry, but I just can't sit around and wait while all of our natural resources are being used up, as humans kill everything on this planet that they can find a use for. I will not sit around as the human race dies out. You only think of yourself. You aren't thinking about the future generations that could be saved. We could develop interstellar vessels, sort of a Noah's Ark, carrying the remainder of the human race to the heavens. We do not have to die, we can survive.
the sun is also coming closer to the earth, we only have a few million years to go out and make something like pluto our home...or its lights out... i heard this one guy say that he's seen God when it was thunderstorming... i think they took him to a mental asylum afterwords...lol...

I don't believe in Aliens, because well...there hasn't been any solid evidence to support it. All i've seen are dodgy video clips of "apparent" flying objects.

The Earth is moving closer to the Sun....no, its not the same thing.
I, for one don't believe in extraterrestrials, but I wish there were. Have something like Star Trek happen with Earth in the dominant government group. That would be cool.

You must not understand the concept behind wormholes. This concept states that wormholes may have the ability to bend the space-time continuum, until two points normally far away from each other are very close together, almost touching. this would make interstellar travel a breeze (if we could build a ship which could withstand the gravitational forces).
You must not understand that scientists cannot prove this because a) we don't "apparently" reside by one, b) we do not have technology to prove this, c) we couldn't travel to one, and d) (from what I have heard, not sure if it's actually true and don't think scientists can prove it) they are impossible to see.
The last one is "supposedly" true, isn't it?
