I have SSX 3 for the PS2 but is the gamecube version any better. I picked up LOTR Return of the King for the Cube and I love it looks really good and plays very well.
It kind of bothers me that companies are cancelling gamecube support as the connectivity with the GBA is well worth it!!
I'm even thinking of dumping my Xbox and focusing more on my cube!! I just bought a second one with the zelda bundle so I can hook it up ot my VGA monitor!! Mario Kart looks awesome!!

No don't like the controller better the PS2 one has online playability!!
If I go for sporting games or game like THPS, I would take the PS2 version because I'm more used to the controller.

I played SSX Tricky on the GameCube and I felt the controls were atrocious. If SSX3 plays anything like Tricky did, I'm staying away from it.

Well Tricky rocks on the cube...and SSX3 does too. The game is so huge...

The PS2 version has a lot of load time!! That is one thing I don't like and I like the wavebird as it is so much bigger than the regular controller. I think SSX 3 runs at a higher frame rate than the one on the PS2. The only reason I got it was due to the online play. Nintendo has a modem and broadband adapter why not get stuff online!!

The online was supposed to be pretty good. GC was the best load times out of all versions. Even thought I really like the gc control for this game it does leave out one button which means a few less tricks.

Nintendo seems to think more ppl want to hook up their game boy to their gcn than play games online. :(
((thinks back on pacman and tetra trackers))
At least nintendo is starting to warm up to it a little bit though with mario kart's lan support.

yeah Mario Kart rocks I got another gamecube just for that reason (with the Zelda bundle) and now all I need is a BB adapter and I'll be complete.
My cube looks awesome on my 15" flat panel VGA monitor!!
