I'll be going with MSN/.NET Messenger here because of its features and Windows integration.

MSN/.NET/Windows Messenger is the only one I use, because I hate AOL, and no one that I know goes on it. So I just use MSN.

Best option is Trillian... AIM, MSN, ICQ, and Yahoo! all in one.

I use MSN 6.1, I hate Windows Messanger. MSN 6.1 and 6.0 have games on them that's were the other IM lack. I also use AIM because I have to lol :P

MSN is the best looking, but AOL is where all my friends are.

AIM is the devil.. I only go on there when I have to talk to Ken and Sean - Yahoo has the invisibility option which is necessary for me because people are always bugging me ;)

Not you, Code_link ;)

I've got AOL and MSN. I don't mind AOL but I prefer MSN because it's got jazzy gizmos ;)

AIM is the best IMO. I have AIM5.5 and it has games. But if you get DeadAIM it's even better (I deleted mine so I don't currently have it). All convos will be saved (you can disable), you can have your own made-up names for people on your buddylist so you remember them, transparency, and a load of other things. AIM5.5 has the pop-up feature, but unlike MSN, it even does it for idle, going away, signing off, etc. It's all editable though.

I hate MSN because you have to know people's e-mail address and that's worse than names. I only use MSN for people at a specific forum, and it's not here.

I use all four major IM clients, that way I'm not limited.

Vote MSN

I used to use Trillian to get all of them, but it didnt work all that well. I only use AIM and MSN, but MSN has a better interface IMO. Also, more features.

I used to use ICQ, but I reallly hated it, so I convinced my friends to switch to MSN. I just like how MSN is almost seamless with hotmail.
I also have AIM, but I don't really use it much.

I think Yahoo is the best, but none of my friends are on it, so I don't use it much.

It has built in IM games (like a Street Fighter style fighting game and tic tac toe), and you can have it so that when you log in, it automatically logs in as invisible, so no one can see you at all, where as on MSN, you have to log in, and then turn on invisible.

So, it's small details like that i guess. Oh yeah and on Yahoo, people can leave you offline messages that pop up when you get back online even if they aren't there.

I love AIM, but at the same time, I hate AIM.

That is why MSN is needed as well

I use Trillian, as it means I can talk to friends from school with MSN, and GCAers with AIM (why the hell do you all go on AIM?). But, if I wanna play a game with a friend, I have to log off and get onto MSN6.

Hey, does anyone have a tool for getting rid of Windows Messenger more completely? It's driving me crazy :'(

Also, I was thinking of paying out for Trillian Pro 2 when it comes out. Maybe. :P
