What did everyone think of it? Personally, I enjoyed it very very much. I thought it was far superior to the first one, but wished they had given Nightcrawler more of a part in it, seeing as how he is my second favorite character (#1 is Wolverine.) Seeing as how this one was so good, I have very high hopes for X-Men 3, which is prolly coming out around 2005.

I loved it. I can't wait for the DVD....but I have to see if my pops can buy it since I'm low on money... X2 was great, so I expect no less from X3.
The DVD is coming soon. It should be excellent with lots of features.
X3?! When?

I've always hated him.... until the movie came out. I like him now, but he's from one of the best (in my opinion)

She is Mystique, a shapeshifting mutant involved with the Brotherhood of Mutants. She has a special connection to Nightcrawler and Rogue that I won't spoil here but I hope will come out in the next movie.
I got the DVD and it is just great. Perfect almost. Just go get it, there's really no reason not to. Best comic book movie ever made in my opinion.

Mystique has a sorta connection with Sabretooth, but not Wolverine. She does have connections to Nightcrawler and Rogue, like stated above, but I don't know if they will use them. They may decide not to use them at all in order to keep the movies more "REAL" as the connections are things that could honestly only happen in a comic book. But who knows, maybe they will use them.

In a way I think they should use them, as it would make the tie between the movies and the comics greater, which I want to see. But in a way that would make things for confusing for people who have not read the comics and then people would complain about how weird the plot has gotten in the X-Men movies. I really loved both X-Men movies, each in different ways, and in other ways the same way. If that makes sense to you. I loved the first one as it introduced the characters wonderfully and just started the X-Men movie series out with a BAM! The second one continues the plot wonderfully and the new characters are great (Pyro and Nightcrawler :-D) Although I guess Pyro was kind of in the first one, but he did not do anything. Just made the little ball of flame. :-/

I F'cking love the movie, but why, WHY is there no Gambit? He is the best X-man ever, cept maybe psylock, so sexy, but yeah. I hear it's because he's so much like Wolverine, but I don't give a shite. He's better in my opinion. Who else wants to see him in a movie?

i would love to see him in the next one, but bryan singer said they don't want to overpopulate the movie with the same personality types, so if we do see gambit, it won't be until sometime in the future, and by that, not the near future.
i've always loved nightcrawler, ever since the eXcalibur days. i always thought he was just the coolest thing since guiness in bottles.
the mystique connection would be very interesting to see on film, but it really is, as stated before, something that's very comic-book oriented. who knows...so far singer's done a GREAT job on the series, and if X3 is as much better than X2 as it was over X-men, it's gonna rock the socks.
and anyways, something tells me we're gonna be focusing a lot on gene gray's character the next go-round...

I thought that she only had this special connection to Rogue, but then again I only watched the television show, is it different in the comic? And I would appreciate even a 2 minute cameo with Gambit in three, especially if he shows his powers. Good lord, I think the next one might come out in like 2006, if they have Gambit in four it could be as far away as 2009 or 2010. WHY LORD, WHY?

Three is planned for a 2005 release as of now. Not 2006. Mystique has a connection with Rogue AND Nightcrawler. I do not think they will put that into the movies, so far they have not. And the Television shows and the comics follow basically the same plot. So the Comics and the Television shows are relatively the same plot.
