Nintendo Nexus (the fake system)

I know many of you probably have not seen the MOCK pictures that were made and floating about the internet.

I have the pics that this person released and I am gonna post one so you have a clue to what this person made the sys look like.

A couple of guildlines before you download though.


THIS IS FAKE
The Nintendo Nexus is not an official name at all...it isn't even unofficial, it is just a name that a fan made up.
This is by no means anything close to an official picture or hint as to what Nintendo's next system will be.
The only reason I am posting this pic is so all who would have liked to see the pic but haven't been able to can see it.
Note: the pic is worse quality cause I had to resize it REALLY small compared to what it was so I could upload it to the MB so sorry about the quality.

I have to post all of that because I KNOW that if I didn't someone would be like, "SWEET Nintendo's Next system is going to rawk!" or "See...Nintendo DID pick the Nexus as the next name!"

I know 99% of the people realise it is FAKE, I wasn't talking to those people.

If I could post the picture in it's original size then I would have...but the pic was so HIGH quality and defined that I had to cut it down THAT much so the board would accept it.

I think that model is bad ass... I love it.. I like the stats that went with it even more =)

I can see that the base of it is similiar to the n64 base and the upper part of it almost looks like a george foreman grill, but it the system did look like that I would buy the first day it came out.

Yea I have seen this pic a lot. I wish it was real it looks pretty cool. I have also seen some other pics that look like a DVD player.

I wonder what new technology nintendo is gonna put in the N5. It has to either surpass the "cell" thing or be close to its power.

I haven't read or heard anything about the next Nintendo system. To be honest, I don't really want to know. I don't understand why there's so much talk about the next generation of consoles already. These systems have only been out for a few years. I'm still really excited about the current ones, it seems like a lot of people are already ready to move on to the next ones. --~

nintendo isn't going to release anything about there next system at leasy until E3 this year...

First I want to get past the games that are coming out this year and next. I know that the N5 is gonna come out next year. It has!

I am also ready for the next system. But with how things are going it looks like E3 2005 will be the BIG year to release the systems upon the world.

Just note that as of right now, Sony will be the last to release with everyones "projected" (and I say it like that cause what they released or is talked about is no where close to acurate right now) release dates.

sigh... i'm still stuck on if I should get FF:CC if not for the best single player game, but for the graphics i hear are pretty great.

I think with FFCC you either like it or don't (or that is what the case will be). I know I am gonna like it because I am a multiplayer nut! I will buy games on thier multiplayer credit alone.

I never liked the front loader in both the X-Box or the PS2 I guess I like putting them in and out without having something pop out at me.

Anyway, I am actually happy with the current systems. In my opinion I see no need for the next gen ones to come out in 2005. After all I have seen myself spending a lot on the GC games and accessories, and I want to enjoy it more. If another console comes out so soon I might not enjoy the current one I have as much as I used to.

See, if the N5 comes out next year, it'll be the first Nintendo console to come out earlier than 6 years later than the previous one. They should stick to 6 years, because it works just fine.

The Xenon is supposed to come out next fall. I'm glad its coming early, because it'll be a great new console to replace the Xbox. I have a feeling Microsoft is gonna make it perfect.

Im pretty sure the span is 5 years. SNES '91, N64 '96, GCN '01. Only system with 6 years was the original NES '85.

And last i heard, N5 wont be comming out any earlier than 2006 (that would make a 5 year interim between GCN launch and N5 launch, thus following the cycle.) And there is no way that the next XBOX is comming out this year. If it comes out this fall then it will be competeing with itself and Halo2

I do wish though, that Nintendo would take the design from the "Nexus" and give it a couple adjustments, and release that.

I am actually hoping all next gen consoles will be released during the same month. This way we can accurately judge how well a console does in comparision to the competition. Since the PS2 launched a year before the Xbox and GC this gave it time to gather up a bunch of sales. If N5, Xbox 2, and PS3 all release at the same time then we can see which console heads off to a good start. Plus the lineups are going to have to be good. I want to see each consoles lineup and see which is the best. I am probably going to get the N5 or Xbox 2, I would like to get all three.

wow, i hope the next console doesn't look like that. That design is just so ergonomically unsound for a piece of video equipment. Personally, it looks like they took a George Foreman grill, slapped some N64 footies on it, gutted it and put in the components.. just not going to fly with the other electronics in the market..
