capcom vs SNK 2 eo (no gamecube-ism allowed)
soul calibur two

Im a Street Fighter 4 sure... Im such a huge fan of Street Fighter and Capcom fighters. I cant wait tell SNK-Vs. Capcom chaos.

Soul Calibur is cool fighting game, but my favorite has to go to Super Smash Bros. I can remember the old days playing with all my buddys on nintendo 64 for hours. I play the new melee version on gamecube sometimes but my friends are so busy these day :(

Street Fighter is classic, I was thinking about putting that as the best 2D fighter but I love the online feature in C VS SNK2.

i dont know
i dont like too much the genre
but i think soul calibur is the best
i adore playing with weapons

but i like ssbm too
its very funny, especially making tournaments and playing with friends
but sometimes i think all that fight is a little mess :/

I still play that on my GBA and im still gonna get the PS2 anniversary edition. But, so much fun back in the day on my Super Nintendo.

Super Smash Bros. Melee hands down. I like fighting games that are easy to pick up and play and I hate ones where you have to memorize a buncha moves (cause I hate being the same character over and over).

Other good fighting games:
Power Stone 2
DOA 3
Soul Calibur 2

I never played it, but I've heard that Fist of the Lotus game for X-box was pretty cool.

I also enjoyed SSBM and Street Fighter vs. X-Men.

I consider SSBM more of a party game then a fighting game.

SSBM is quite different; it requires fast reflexes, as well as knowledge of how your character moves and fights and when to use moves. It's one of those games that's easy to play but hard to master. That said, I like the fact that it's not a button-basher - I know most of the moves in my fighting games, but often I lose to my sister b/c she just taps A. :'(

I also love SC2. It's the first non-SSB fighter I've played that actually requires you to think about blocking and parrying properly. I'm not great at fighters, but I loved it. Go Talim, hwaaaa!
