Since its return on Spike TV what do you think of the new ren and stimpys?

Didnt they make Ren and Stimpy homosexual or something? I heard that they did but I've only seen the SpikeTV one once.

I haven't really seen it. I saw it once, it was funny, but when ever it was on, there was something that I wanted to see more.

Yes, and it's only one of the reasons that the show sucks horribly now. I can't stand it. I watched the first episode and decided that I was never watching it again.

According to the creator of the show, Reny and Stimpy were always gay but they could not be openly gay due to nickelodeon standards. There are quite a bit of double entendres and vague hints scattered throughout the series. The trouble I have with the show now (I watched about 5 minutes of the new one) is that they are not as clever as the originals; either in hiding it, or more importantly in the actual script itself.

I still haven't seen it. I'm a big Ren and Stimpy fan and have been waiting for this ever since I heard about it online... unfortunately I live in the UK and there's been no news of any station even thinking about showing it :(

I havn't seen the new ones, but I enjoyed the old ones.

My cousin once had a pet cat named Stimpy who could play Street Fighter on the SNES. Put the controller on the floor, show Stimpy the TV and he would start button mashing like there was no tomorrow.

dave cooper and bill wray never made the originals, but took over after nickelodean fired the creator and then proceeded to turn the show into crap...ever since then, it has been the way of ren and stimpy to be crap.

Whoa, I didn't even know the show made a comeback. This is awesome! By far one of my most favorite cartoons from my childhood. I'm gonna have to start checking this out. Spike TV = awesome.

I could swear that they took it off of Spike TV. I haven't heard anything about it lately. I remember that they showed classic Ren and Stimpy like an hour later. Do they still do that? Maybe I'll start watching it again. We'll see.

I think they stopped showing Ren & Stimpy. But I watched it and it just doesnt appeal to me the way the classic shows did on Nick. Anyways MxC is so funny I really dont care, I love that show!

They don't screen them in NZ, they did but now they're gone.
