American Idol 3

Do you guys think that American Idol 3 is going to live up to the quality of the second season? Last season, we had some really good singers, like Clay, Ruben, and Kimberly. The year before, we had Kelly, Justin, and some other person that I don't remember. So, as far as the singers go, do you think, based on this past week's auditions, that the third season will hold better talent than the previous seasons? Vote.

Personally I think the show sucks. It's a sham, pure and simple. It goes to show America's overall prefence to music and it SUCKS. There's SO much awesome music out there, SO insanely much, and by watching American Idol you're watching vomit sing. I won't deny that SOME of the performers have decent voices, but that's all they have.

You really cant judge this season AT ALL based on the fact that they showed 10% of the people who moved on to the next round. The first episodes only focus on the worst

This season will prob be the last. All the judges hate the singers now and even show that. The show is entertainment, and has some hot guys on it. :) Plus Clay and whats her name are great singers so who cares.

my dear innocent, naive david. No show is about the quality or the substance. As long as it has such HUGE ratings, the damn thing will last 20 seasons.

Yeah. American Idol will last a while.

And actually, White Guy, the first episodes are all of the auditions, just not the worst. They go from east to west, starting in New York and ending I believe in San Fransisco. I dunno exactly where it ends.

It won't have good ratings if the judges leave, or even if just Simon leaves the ratings would fall.

Um, I don't think they have time to show ALL the auditions. They pick the best (ones who advance) and the worst, I think. If that's wrong at least I thought that.

Actually they show flashes of the advancers. They pick 25 people in each city, maybe 5 of those they show the auditions for.

The only reason to watch that shyte, is to see Simon insult people..

See... what I think they should do is next season, have it be random people who audition... not people who want to audition. Then they turn those people into good singers. It would be a lot funnier.
