Whoa, that 3D display idea sounds kindof cool. But could it really work with modern videogames, or even with a portable? Should be interesting to see if the DS is indeed 3D, I guess that would turn the tables quite a bit.

I dont believe the Sharp's 3D Display will used in the Handheld market..it sound pretty expensive.

In any case if it will, I dont believe the DS will use it becuase the DS planned to release 2004 winter, and developers will get the emuolators and proggraming software for it only on May - this is not enough time for developers to get new with the new hardware and the 3D Display I believe....

What you said about price is true. That 3D display would be very pricey, and as they speculated, the unit itself will likely be around $150.

Nintendo takes your idea of what it should look like, and totally does a 180 from what you'd expect, so I highly doubt it'll look like any of these mockups. I'm scared of the unknown.

are you being serious? that one actually looks like...well, ONE of the dumbest. i think the most probable one would be the one made like the GBA, with the flip up top screen. i still think two screens is really dumb, though. wouldn't you just [edit]up all the time switching between which screen you're watching? how do you EVER get timing down to do moves like that? it's like racing games, when you look backwards...nine times out of ten you crash or run into something while you're doing it.

Im pretty sure it is short for Special. From what i heard it isnt an ...uh... one of those things where each letter stands for something. Analog? Anagram? Doesnt an Anagram have to spell a new word?
