I agree..... with neither of you. Ha!

Matrix was revolutionary....and only way to satisfy fans would be to keep it the exact same, but then again, that wouldn't satisfy them or new matrix viewers. They had to touch new ground.

The second lagged and lagged with mindless conversations about the one. The third was soo sci-fi it was crazy. Both were good though. Feel of the first one and fight sequences of the other two would have been prime

I don't see why they went to the trouble of freeing people who had no idea otherwise if the people of Zion just wanted to live in peace, but meh. The first movie was about freeing everyone, and eventually it shifted to surviving the war. The second introduced so many characters and filled up most of the movie with dialogued content. In fact, the second and third could have been merged into one big movie while taking out the less important parts of each. I have to admit, the third movie was a marked improvement over the second, but still not up to the standards set by the original. At least the music was good.

I loved Reloaded over Revolutions........I only liked Revolutions for the final fight between Smith and Neo, I love reloaded for the ammount of action....my favorite scene is the weapons room, that was purely BAD***!

Um... the weapons room was in Revolutions, unless I'm mistaken...

I liked all three of them, I don't care what anyone says about them. I kinda hope that another trilogy is coming, you know, maybe a prelude to what happened in this trilogy?

There's an explanation to the backstory, and it's called Animatrix.

Oh yeah, I forgot that scene.......

Ok, the weapons room that I am referring to is the one with a lot of enemies shooting at Neo, and neo stops it, thereafter, he goes and battle them up to the stairs, and jumps to the first floor, etc, etc. Its in reloaded, right before the famous car chase.

I know what your talkin about Ninty. The room with the white stairs and all the melee weapons mounted on the walls. That fight was awesome.

I wanted to see more of those crazy ass twins in #3. And the final fight ruled the world (except how Smith was defeated, that was utter crap). Of course, watching the end of Revo, I had to make sure I wasn't watching DBZ for a moment.

I know, but, we need something in live-action, not anime.

I thought the Matrix1 was amazing, absolutely brillaint. I had high hopes for number two however, I thought it was utter crap. I still don't get that rave scene. number 3 I liked a lot, I thought it really finished the series nicely and I really liked the ending.
So in my view:
Matrix 1: 5/5
Matrix 2: 2/5
Matrix 3: 4/5

I personally love all three Matrix movies. Each of them are perfect in their own ways. I even have a few Matrix books where different people (scientists, philosophers, etc.) explains different meanings behind the movies. Overall, a great trilogy. There is gonna be a Matrix Online game for PC...CAN'T WAIT!!

I don't get why most people don't like Reloaded. In my opinion, it was probably the best one in the trilogy. The car chase scene was classic. Even though a lot of the parts in the movie are boring, long, discussions about control and everything, the action was still pretty good.

And I didn't know there was going to be a PC game online. When did you hear about this?

I heard about it around the same time Reloaded came out. There is an official website, but I don't know the actual link. Seach for "The Matrix Online" on Google or Yahoo, you should be able to find it by doing that.

So far, it's more promising than Enter the Matrix ended up being.

Well, Enter the Matrix just blew... the worst thing in the great Matrix series. They should have spent more time on the game and had it released with Revolutions... they could have made it a much better game.

My brother liked it....He loved it so much that he called it the best game ever place In His Opinion. He beat the game a few times...and still loves it. I played the game....but I didn't get that far....so I didn't make any judgement yet.

the first was better than all the rest...........2nd and 3rd was just too...........out of line and a bit off the storyline too much.....

Revolutions failed to answer the Matrix's storyline properly. People went into the movie expecting that and were dissapointed. The first move set such a high standard, however, it was harder to meet.

EDIT

It was still good though; good enough to be the #1 5-day operning

Yo Matt, I had to edit your post, it had a MAJOR spoler in it, sorry.

Oh oops. I forgot to say spoiler warning. My bad.

You know what would rock.. a spolier tag... warning then the spoiler black on black [so you got to hilight to see it] then an end warning.

I have to agree with Sean here. The first movie is amazing. The second and third just threw away the series. I felt they were plaugued by uninvolving writing and sub par visuals that completely took you out of the world.

Thats just my two cents.

I agree with you Sean, the 1st was awesome, 2nd good, but the 3rd one just let us down. I expected better. Lord of the Ring will be better

And now, because of poor box office... THE MATRIX REVOLUTIONS will be available on DVD on JANUARY 6th in an attempt to milk the series before all interest dies.

The first matrix was great, but the last 2 sucked.
The action scenes were good but the movies felt predictable. With the exception of the ending of 3, i had know idea they'd end it like that.....u couldnt even call it an ending more of a, oh wait everything that happened was for nothing, oh well.

A friend of mine didnt give any of the movies a chance cuz he hates Keanu Reeves. hehe

I don't think the 3rd let us down at all. Sure Neo (OH MY, WHAT A HUGE SPOILER WARNING)died and all but I thought it was still a good explanation of the story and a good ending for the series even if (HERE IT IS AGAIN) all the people weren't freed and the freed humans still have pathetic lives to some extent.

On the subject of Enter the Matrix, I liked it. I mean, of course it's not one of the greatest games ever made (far from it), but I honestly enjoyed it for what it was worth.

The second was better than the third IMO - the ending of the third was just tacky as!

When i watched the 2nd one for the first time it let me down... but then i watched it again and understood it better. The third was by far the best. it is the best movie i have ever seen. It made me cry.

The first film in the series was great, the second was terrible. It seemed like they stretched a short story into a feature length film and it didn't work at all. It was so bad that I'm not even going to go see the third... the second was that big of a let down to me... Bummer too, concidering I loved the first sooo much.
