Favorite id Software franchise

If you guys dont know id Software, then you obviously arent as hardcore FPS like me. But rest assured you probally do know who they are. So whats your favorite game from id?

I would have to say....... The Wolfenstein franchise. It reflects on a darker peice of WWII. Most people dont even know that Germans actually did do all sorts of nasty experiments, although nothing got quite to the extent of Wolfenstein.

Secondly is Quake. I only played the N64 version, but even with only 4 people and a split-screen it was still a blast. My best friend is getting Quake 3 though, so we might play some LAN.

Finally Doom. I love Doom..... just not as much as i love Quake and Wolfenstein :).

I've had to go with wolfenstein too. Not only is it the Grandad of FPS's, but the fact that the whole game is based loosly around fact (yes Hitler did experiment with the occult and black sciences) if only in premise alone.
